Hello all, I'm quite new here. I arrived by chance (if indeed there is such a thing!! (-: ) Long ago I read Linda Goodman's wonderful Starsigns, partucularly numerology.....my birthdate is a 16. I remember being concerned by the meaning, as it portends great loss/tragedy particularly for anyone who climbs the career ladder to the point of fame. (Abraham Lincoln was a 16.)Could anyone tell me more about the number 16? I am a columnist and travel writer, having achieved reasonable success so I am a little worried!! My very full fifth house though would indictae I am destined to be creative!! Thank you all. I am SOOOOOOOOOOO enjoying the topics here and am glad to help anyone else in return! ------------------ I just want to love and be loved! - Marilyn Monroe, 1955 IP: Logged |

Hey again Yang......I am not 'trained' as such so you're way ahead of me!! I write a column about being a parent (a funny /observing kind of thing) and also when I go anywhere a travel piece for the same paper. I work as a Travel Consultant too you see which means I get good deals on travel.Sadly though I am redundant from my travel job month at the end of this month. And this was supposed to be my year with the scorpio jupiter (right where my jupiter is)....oh well! From what I've read of your posts so far Yang you should go with it, you seem to be a very articulate and elegant writer. ------------------ I just want to love and be loved! - Marilyn Monroe, 1955 IP: Logged |

Lala, thanks kindly, but unforunately I don't have much to add re the 16. I would just say what I tell all 16s, if you've dreamt about the elevator falling and killing you on numerous occassions, and you're feeling queasy about it, THEN DON'T TRAVEL IN IT!Just common sense really I'd just hate to think of all those innocent people out there that die weirdly needlessly. Your name number can offset any harmful effect of 16. Choose a name number of 21. 21+16 = 37 = 10 or Wheel of Fortune. 21 is also a lucky number on its own. 16 is not unlucky if you listen to your intuition by the way. Lincoln did not heed his dreams and was an over achiever in any case.IP: Logged |

Hello Librasparkle!! You sound like a sparkly fun person too!!! Yes I like fun and I love to laugh. Thank you for the help all. I feel the 16 intuition thing and to be honest the occasions when I don't acknowledge my instinct are the bad ones.
