Thanks!

Ra, Jake's a really cool name too. Jackson has three - Jackson Thomas Dean. Thomas is my wife's dad's middle name. I was a little concererned that there's too many, but the numbers worked out so great, and the name represents both sides of our family, so hopefully he won't mind spelling it out when he has too He's home now and is feeding really well, and had a bath. We all had a good sleep for a while away from all of the other babies. I don't know about posting pics on the Internet yet. I'm sure it'd be fine, but I might leave it a bit.

Dean.

OK, before I make this too boring, I've created a little montage of a kind of before and after shot of being in the hospital (first one's hour young), and a few days later.

***removed***

Isn't he cute? Just gets cuter every day. But I'm sure all babies are like that.

Dean.

Awwww Dean – what a strong, authoritative little baby. He is VERY cute with two beautiful parents. The world is lucky to have him. He comes off as “boss” for some reason and I think his name is GREAT. My government name is actually 17 as well. Forever hopeful and never one to blame others for my mistakes or circumstances or would ever believe that I am stuck because of them. Responsible and see the glass as half full. 17s know there is more than meets the eye and yet, much can be told in the eye. You have a sure leader in your arms. BEST OF wishes to you, mom and baby. conversing with jackson in every possible way - tele and otherwise, would be great for him, you and mom. note how quickly he will be in responding to you in the same fashion.

p.s. have you noticed that the babies that are being born lately with the aries ascendant (my niece is one) just have such an "amazingly independent, evolved" disposition – very quick, eager, curious and hardly shy who are VERY much attracted to lights and movement.

Thanks Amisha. Alhtough he is an 18 - the Spiritual - Material conflict. I used to know a 17 who I think could be remembered after her death as the book says, but I'm a little concerned about Jacksons 18. I think it will be a very good thing in the end as he will learn more about the world than just success or whatever. 18s seem to need to understand that the Spiritual is ALWAYS more important than material, a lesson I feel I will help provide as much as I can. I've always felt very Spiritual, so hopefully it will rub off and form like a safety net of positivity for his life. I'm sure tha Sag moon will help with that too Thanks for your kind words.

Dean.

ps. He was born tha same day as Suri Cruise Do I get a couple mil for these exclusive photos?

pps. about the Aries rising, well, he seems very strong and in control. I have no doubt he will be the leader in our family, but I will always be bigger (I'm about 6 foot five) He was born able to move his head back which is apparantly kinda rare or something. Just now he was hungry and was sitting on my tummy while Mummy was getting ready and pushing off and kicking around etc. I just hope I can calm him if he has tantrums etc. I made an error before, he's not a triple nine, he's a quintupple nine. But how many Aries with that? It will be all good.

Indeed Jackson is so cute.
Thanks for sharing his pictures.

It must be so much fun to watch a kid grow, I was wondering. He does not know what hunger is? All he knows is theres a craving. He starts crying and when fed he is satisfied. He learns his first lesson "When hungry cry"
I am sure father Dean must be paying attention to all these details with his Virgo planets? Hehehe

Well, I have more where that came from

removed

Mannu, yes, it is all a learning curve. He falls asleep a lot when feeding, so we have to wake him up. He can sleep through anything, but once he's hungry, he gets wide awake. At this age, he only seems to cry when hungry, or when we declothe him for baths or diaper changing. I changed his diaper this morning (with my wife's supervision of course), and it went everwhere. My wife couldn't stop laughing. Then, just when I thought it was over, he pee'd everywhere. Nothing really smells though, because he breastfeeds. Apparantly this means he has to feed more often, but then everything smells better. I still hold my breath though. I'm a complete amatuer. I feel we are learning his signs everyday though. Sometimes he just seems a little bored, and others he might not like what he's doing, like sunbaking or bathing too long. I think he gets a little grumpy if he's tired too, but we just let him sleep whenver he wants, so he hardly seems grumpy at all. Are you planning on having children any time soon? In the past week, my life seems so different. I have less back pains etc, and just more energy to stay a wake and run around doing things. I really recommend it to anyone. Great experiences!

Dean.

Dean, I love the honest way that you express yourself. It's very refreshing. Makes me smile the whole time I'm reading.

And when reality sets in, your life won't just seem different, it will be different. Great things to come. Oh, and I love the full name. It has an awesome ring to it.

Oh I just reread and see he's home now. Very nice.
You are bringing back wonderful memories Dean.
It is a little scary at first, because you want to make sure you are doing everything just right. But each day brings a bit more relaxation and confidence, as you become more reassured everything's fine and you become more intune into his timely needs.

Enjoy!

Thanks Pixie! Love to your family too I have a question for you, and I guess all other parents out there. Did your babies have Jaundice? Mums a little worried about it, but I looked on the Internet and it says it usually stays for about seven days, and this is day 5 so maybe its almost over. Its just that his eyes are a little yellow (and parts of his body), but I'm certain that its passing through. What are your experiences?

Dean.

YES!! It is SOOO Common.

My son was jaundiced for a few days.... they'll treat it with light at the hospital, probably why they kept him for observation....
They acted perfectly normal about it.. didn't give me much cause for concern, though it was somewhat concerning. He grew into a normal healthy little man, and, at eleven, is soooo smart!!!! Keep loving Mr.Jackson, send that positive stuff ( as if you had a choice!)and he'll continue to astound you daily.

The reason I am even responding to this right now, is that my daughter ( who was in my bed, next to me) just projectile vomited, and so I got up in a hurry, cleaned her, cleaned the room, comforted, etc.... and now I am winding down, tryig to rid myself of the stink....

Welcome to parenthood!!!!

I hope she's okay.. possibly just something she ate, and her body is responding in the only way it knows how.
Not worried, not worried ( Yes, I am worried)

Love to you and yours.

Thanks guys. I think its clearing up a bit. His umbilical cord finally came off today.

Pixie, is there ever a time you don't worry about the younguns? How's your daughter now? Do you use towels to catch the chuck up? At this age it doesn't bother me, but I'll bet as he gets older, and the chuck much bigger that, that I'll thank God for the invention of the towel

Dean.
