A little research question here

Was anyone born at midnight? If so, have you ever experienced seeing a ghost or any other strange phenomenon. Do you have precognative dreams or visions?

There is an old wives tale which says that "A child born at midnight, known as a chime child, has the gift of sight."

I was just 15 mins away from being such a child and have always felt slightly cheated as the doctors decided to induce me and may have robbed me of my gift!

Would just be interested to see if there's any evidence to support the old theory as my feeling is that the 'Old Wives' weren't always wrong

Yep perhaps it's the midnight hour rather than the chimes of midnight itself? I have precognative dreams and sense a great many things but don't seem to 'see' things in a physical way as such, so the abilities obviously vary a great deal. It'll be interesting to see if anyone who was born at exactly midnight replies and what they have to say

I was born at 12:20 am...
I dunno. I have had experiences, but not like some of the ones I have read.
I think more importantly, I am drawn to such experiences. Anything a little 'interesting' and different has always intrigued me.
Of course, I am Scorpio sun mars uranus and north node... that could also explain it.
From the time I chose my own books, they were always real-life reads, off the beaten path, esoteric.

I was born at 12:01am, and I have experienced precognative dreams since I was about 5 years old.

When I was younger, 50% came true, the opposite happened with the other 50%. Now that I'm older and walking the path that I was meant to be on, 75% or so are coming to life.

I also have certain psychic powers. I don't see ghosts, but I do sense "cold" spots, and I do smell perfumes or scents occasionally. (Since I'm very allergic/sensitive to perfumes and such, I do not scent my house with anything that lingers in the air, so I *know* the smells are coming from "somewhere" else.)

This is really interesting and thanks everyone for replying.

It would appear that the time approaching, dead on and just after midnight does seem to have the effect of 'lifting the veil' so to speak? It would be very interesting to see what experiences people born during the day have had and compare the intensity and the quantity.

I was born 12:04 AM and unfortunately have never seen the other wordly even though I loved ghost stories since childhood. Howevver, I know about 10-15 eyewitnesses for ghosts and the paranormal. Their testimony is sufficient for me.
