Topic: Would Anyone Like to Discuss Criss Angel Mindfreak?

Well the new season started two weeks ago. Tried to tape the 1st week but it didn't come out. So I watched this week's episodes.
In these episodes he;
- Cut a lady in half on a park bench (pretty freaky when her top half ran away!)
- Cut himself completely in half and people could walk through his halved self
- walked on water
- balanced and then stabbed himself through a metal fence
- various other little oddities like made himself disappear, etc.
SO>>>>>>>>>> What do you guys think? I am completely mind-boggled over the sawing in half of himself and the lady on the bench. He must not be human, he must be either an angel posing as a human, an alien posing as a human, he is highly, highly gifted, and used meta-physical powers.......he does not bleed........(during these particular stunts in this week's show). I had another Criss Angel Mindfreak thread last year, but decided to start a new one here on UC because it gets more activity over here. IP: Logged |

Yeah!!! Ive been watching him and all my friends think he's bogus.I think he may be an angel or something,I just saw an episode like last week where he levitated from one building to another across the street! He is unbelievable,but I believe in him!I checked out his chart stuff,hes a Sagittarius sun Cancer moon.I bet it has to do with that moon being home,very powerful placement.His birthdate is December 19 1967,east meadow,NY.He has a grand trine in water,moon cancer,venus & neptune scorpio,connecting his chiron in pisces.I also noticed he has uranus in virgo at the fate degree 29.Born the same year as Kurt Cobain also.Well check out his chart see if you find anything that would point to his abilities.Very interesting!! Hey BigEliza ~ thanks for the info. How can he be bogus? All the people/witnesses, around him get so freaked out. He doesn't perform on a stage, he performs out on the street, in a park, etc. with no props.
You know when he walked across the swimming pool, the people swam all around him, under him, etc. so he sure wasn't walking on plexiglass!
What do you think about when he sawed himself in half and the people could walk through?
I am so bummed I missed last week, esp. when he put his arm/fist through the guy's chest.

His Sun is at 27 degrees in the 9th house. Conjuncts the Mc, both in Sagi. His Moon is at 28 degrees in the 5th house (creativity). The 28 degrees implies, "been there, done that, finished." I saw the episode.Yeah, I don't know. I think most any conventional explaination would be even more absurd than the speculation that he is an angel or something other than human. My guess, though, is that he is human, and has studied occultism (perhaps for many lifetimes), - a pursuit for which he is personally extremely well equipped. Although they are not yet common knowledge, these things are not unheard of, and I see no reason to jump to the supposition that the man is more than human. It seems far more likely, to me, that he has simply practiced and made use of techniques which other people do not seek out, do not have a talent for, and/or do not take seriously enough to dilligently experiment with. The same goes for David Blaine.

Great answer,  shaped  ! I agree with what you said. For example, Linda said that Jesus was only human, just like we all are, that we all have the same gift, the same power. We just need to know how to use it to tap into it.
Notice how his 9th house is very strong, and what it represents!
I love David Blaine too. Did you see on his last special when he pulled the pretty girl's teeth out, and then put them in his mouth, and then spit them out and they went right back into place in her mouth? Freaky. IP: Logged |

All he's doing is fairly standard magic tricks with his own twist to make it "his." It's simple entertainment, not proof that he's an angel or an alien. C'mon guys, you're too gullible. It's one thing to be open minded but this is too much.IP: Logged |

I do not think Believing in someone,is gullible.I have seen many things in my life,that many people would say were "unbelievable".Just because you may be afraid or unbelieving that human beings can do superhuman things,doesnt mean it does not happen.Once you start believing in yourself you will see all things are possible.N- awesome findings!Being born during a Full Moon,the houses,makes alot of sense.I also have most of my chart in the 8th,and 9th.Very strong houses for supernatural,transformative energies.Next It would be very interesting to look into his asteroids,most likely there is much to be found there.Yes Criss Angel may just be a regular human being like us,but he has mastered something that propels him to accomplish these tasks,and he is trying to show us...to Believe in ourselves. ~~Peace and Rainbows ~~ Eliza Libra/Scorpio/Aquarius asc. I've seen this show, I been trying to figure out how he does these tricks. I keep thinking the smoke and mirrors has to be somewhere. Nevertheless, his stunts are amazing. An episode where he put his hand right through a guy comes to mind right now. Maybe he is for real.IP: Logged |

Watched the tape again for the 3rd time last night. Paused on certain sections. When he sawed himself in half, it was for real. No illusions. Filming and people standing all around, and then people walking through both halves, able to touch both halves. His feet were clenched. What does that mean?
NOW -----> how does he put himself back together and why don't they show it?
I am still suspicious of the lady he cut in half on the park bench - why would he not tell her ahead of time, and let her top half run away? Why does he not show putting her back together? Could she be one of those persons who are born with no bottom half, but if so, then how did he find real legs/bottom half of body for her to walk on, and why did they stay there on the bench with the toes/feet moving?
And then the walking on water - It LOOKS like he is walking on something - glass, plastic, whatever. BUT the people are swimming right in front of where he walks, and under him.

I didn't say simple magic tricks, I said standard magic tricks, ala David Copperfield and David Blaine, meaning it's the same kind of thing they do. They are illusionists, and very good ones. If you like this kind of stuff you might also like Derren Brown.IP: Logged |

Chris Angel is a great illusionist. The best I ever seen. But thats all. He is a perfectionist Houdini-David Copperfield mix without the tacky outfits.He is daring and I believe he has a great mind power to get lifted by a chopper by hookers clamped on his back and cope with the pain. He is also very focused and disciplinated. The people around him while he performs his tricks don't seem to be just spectators that stopped to watch his stints at random. I thought they were innocent witness til the day Chris Angel got himself burried and all people around the grave awating him get rid of the coffin and tons of dirt was all dressed in black. What a coincidence! I guess it was raining too! I also think his entourage is a quite pushy and their comments while Chris is doing something apparantly dangerous sound phony almost laughable. They don't help you to believe Chris is risking his life to amuse us. His crew keep on saying things like; he is not going to make it, I have a bad feeling about this and such making phony faces of concerning and despair. They should go to some acting class.If something gone real bad, the show wouldn't be aired. Period. I'm glad this thread was posted. Chris Angel show has been aired in my country lately and I was looking for comments about it. IP: Logged |

Aqua Lover ~ I recall the episodes you refer to. I also think it's kind of a waste of time to show his crew's comments, and I don't like how they cut away from the filming. BUT how do we explain him getting stabbed on the fence, levitating, walking on water, cutting himself in half with people walking through? How is that only an illusion? I forgot to comment about the cutaway from filming. Glad you reminded me of this. Its something I don't like too. The action his performing lost its natural flowing. Makes one wonder why it wasn't taped with a steady camera.I'm impressed by Chris Angel. Like I said, he is very good at his trade. But something in the bottom of my mind keeping saying he can't levitate for one. But what can I do? I'm a Taurus  Perhaps people walking through while he performs signed a confidenciality agreement? Or maybe is Chris a special human been and I'm way too dense to notice this?  Anyway, aside his crew idiotic remarks I like his show and I try to watch it when I can. IP: Logged |

every eye-witness, passerby or member of the staff and crew has to sign a waiver form if their image is to go on public broadcasting. It is a standard procedure... A big production co. like the one behind this show would never make the mistake of putting themselves in a legal hassle...didnt see the epsiode mentioned, but how the #@!?&%$#!?? does the top half of a person "run" away? just askin.... I cant believe there are so many people in a web site dedicated to the deeper mysteries of life,that are so un-believing.Nephthys, do you see how we were just discussing how amazing this man is,and every person that entered here,HAD to put us down for being so gullible.I Believe he is special,it isnt just "magic",and these people cant help themselves but to put the idea of someone having real gifts down.Why are you people even in this website,just to tell people they are wrong?There is something inside of you,holding you back from believing,and its a pity that you are trying to teach others to feel that way also. When Criss Angel levitated from one building to another,he held his arms out and wrapped his legs around one another,just like Jesus Christ on the cross.He connects with something Higher than all of this,to do what he does.He has learned,as have I,if you transcend the ego,connect with the forces beyond us,you can and will do anything you put your mind to.It pains me that there are so many people who want to stay in a state of disbelief.I hope one day we will all see what we need to in order to start believing. Nova ~ Well, pretty much like you could imagine, her top half just ran away! The new season just started so maybe after awhile they will start to show repeats, and you could see it. I think last summer, they would show 2 episodes, one was a repeat of the previous week, and then the next show was a new episode. BigEliza ~ I thought the exact same thing, here we are at a website based on Meta-Physics, where Linda was a Master at channeling all kinds of info. on subjects based on Meta-Physics and there seem to be quite a few non-believers.
Anyhow, I did *invite* discussion, so I was prepared for non-believers, no doubt! So fairly, it's their right to dis-agree and dis-believe. Don't take it personal, I actually find it very humerous............I don't mind that they call me gullible, it's okay. The Universe is erupting with information and if people choose not to believe certain things, then that's their prerogative.
Anyhow, YES he is special, it's in his chart, it is steaming with information exactly as he is using his gifted energies. I do think his crew might be a little bit fake. I also think he does not reveal all to his crew.

Nephthys,Glad to know you are a Taurus too. I usually come along fine with my pairs I like very much this thread, its challenging, but I would feel sorry if it could be killed by intolerance concerning peoples different opinions.

Aqua Lover ~ it's funny, although I am a very, typical female Taurus, I don't need tangible evidence to believe something. I am a huge believer in all kinds of subjects meta-physical, unlike most astrologers would think based on Taurus needing tangibles and evidence!
I guess it's because I've had so many psychic/meta-physical experiences my whole life.

Nephthys I think I'm a believer my way LOL I was trained to be logical, an analytic thinker. Lately, I found myself interested in highly abstract or theoretical things, what surprised me a lot. Its not because I want to believe or I need to believe in something beyond the eyes can see for my life makes sense. Just hapenned in a very subtle way. I'm amused. I'm ejoying this hapening maybe because is so unlike Tauruses. Perhaps other aspects im my chart could explain it?

OK ..I hope I get a chance to see that rerun... thanks, still all I can image is a character from monsters inc. pulling himself along by the arms... wouldn't someone at least have followed her and witnessed the reattaching part? I mean, that is logical... I think all the top illusionists are good.. Anyone who can make the great wall of china disappear up an elephants butt is pretty darn cool... also wouldn't any enlightened being who was doing this for (???) not have an entertainment show about it? so observes the logic of this taurus... but I remain open to all possibilities... I would like to add that Linda welcomed debate. Discussion is a positive learning curve, so lighten up... this isnt supposed to be a mutual admiration society just to reinforce every belief that comes down the pike.. otherwise we would not be knowflakes...just flakes..... and in case anyone was under a different impression there are plenty on this site.
