G'day. I used to, but now I'm not to sure. Sometimes I wonder about how Linda talked about the sole peices, and how does that affect twin-selves? Like, does each piece have a different self out there? I think there's a lot of depth to people, and it takes time to understand who they really are. Nothing is certian in life. Faith is very important, and yet trust is completely important too. All relationships are useful and are used to define your reality due to their respective relativity.Does that make sense? Greetings...I do not believe in this concept as stated therein. Having read and re-read the Conversations with God material, I am more convinced that we are all aspects of God... or to put it more plainly, we are ALL God. If this is the case, I can't believe that we are split apart from any other Being. To say that we require the presence of ONE particular other to become evolved or "fully enlightened", is in light of this, not valid as we represent God/dess individualizing through us. I suppose that if we CHOSE to have the experience of having a Twin-Soul or Soul Mate, then we could certainly create that experience. But is that in fact REALITY, or a creation of our own choosing? And, would that make the experience any less valuable and helpful... I don't know! I think I have more questions than answers at this point, but I'm not sure that I buy the concept as it has been explained thus far. Clear as mud? I thought so!  Just my opinion... I just wanted to mention that after reading this thread I found some old threads over in Soul Mates forum that I bumped up on this topic. One is called "14 Pieces" and one is called "The One." I thought they both had interesting ideas in the threads and neither thread was longer than a page or page and a half. I thought you might like to check them out, ListenstoTrees, and Aselzion, I wondered what you might think of the theories in those threads.IP: Logged | |
