I'm still trying to figure out the Twin S-elf concept myS-elf(!) Whether I believe Linda got that one right or not. I'm not sure. I brought the subject up recently, and when I have the Time, I will read the info. on threads others told me about...(my 6 week old and 2 going on 3 year old keep me VERY busy).

Whether or not this man you met before was your Twin S-elf or not, I couldn't say, but one thing I can say from the feelings you described is that you definetly know each other from previous lives- I can relate those feelings to the feelings I have with my partner (and we have our problems too!!). Although you have already met this person and feelings were recognised, the timing just wasn't right to form a relationship. Things will happen when they are meant to, when you are both ready, and IF they are meant to....whether it is a memory of love shared in the past, or whether you are meant to be together again so your souls may grow together. Relationships can be such hard work- I guess the question is whether or not you are BOTH willing to love enough to listen and compromise....patience, total honesty, understanding.....these are great ingrediants....I'm probably harping on about stuff which is obvious and you already know; just wanted to share what I believe. Its more difficult to put into practice though! (My man IS very stubborn- I'm always getting cross with him).

I kind of knew most of what the words said already- its only uncertainty which I find difficult, the doubting.

I must try to be completely true to my S-elf before I meet my own Twin....if it really is true, I can expect to find/reunite that person once I complete this task, not before.

I love the partner I am with very much, but often feel that he doesn't see all of my true Self..... and I still feel lost, unfulfilled.

That link was so insighful, I think everyone who is interested and has many questions about Twin Souls/Selves should see it.

I'm trying to learn to be less skeptical and more intuitive; to filter out the impression the 'rational' world has made on me and find my way home.

I am with a man at the moment, but the relationship has had a lot of problems for a long time. I try to break up with him but it is difficult because I love him. I try talking to him but its no good.
I believe him to be my soul mate, but not my Twin Soul. The meeting of my Twin Soul will surely be soon. This is not only something I have thought about, but yesterday I was reading another article which talked about us being as many sparks that separated from the source and split into two; to begin with we have many kindred souls we work with, but as we progress they get fewer and fewer until we meet the One. After reading 'Gooberz', it seems to make sense.
I have had very intense feelings for my boyfriend, but it doesn't feel like he is my Twin soul. I even asked my higher self if he was my twin, in the beginning, and the answer I got was no. I just knew I HAD to be with him. Then I WANTED to believe he was the One. So, I sort of brushed all the stuff I had read aside for a while.

First of all, I haven't looked at that site yet, just wanted to say a few things before I do. Th child needs to be taken into consideration of course, if there are fights, how would the child feel growing up? Can the problems be resolved by counselling or does everything feel pretty mutual. Marriage is a tricky thing, because you were obviously in love once, and that sometimes never goes away, but might seem dormant, but on the other hand, people do change and grow too. The 4/8 is nothing to sneeze at, but if it's caused by names, then they can be changed (I wrote a program below to help with this situation). As for why - have you checked out Relationship Signs by Linda Goodman? Very good for determing whether influences are soular or to weigh pros and cons. Brings many things out into the light, so maybe you could check out the past and present relationships.

As for twin selfs, Trees, one thing I read in relationship signs that blew me away was a sentence that went something like "You could be twin souls and are most likely both vegetarian in this carnation". Well, at the time we both were, but it truly wasn't meant to be. The only reason I'm saying this, is that maybe if you become a vegetarian, you could attract your twin self with a similar astral vibration, thereby ending the wait! What do you think? I eat a lot of meat now unfortunately, but eh, that's life. I will try to try again to be vegan, and possibly fruitarian.

Thankyou, Seseme. I am trying to go vegan again too, but it is very hard, especially with a fussy son, nearly three- I also have to make sure I eat properly whilst I am breastfeeding my baby- so I am going to do it gradually, and I feel very comfortable within about that- I think that is a balance. I am settling for vegetarian at the moment....hey- Twin soul, where are you?!!! Hello? Hello?
