From Star Signs page 133

Are you aware that all Mother Goose rhymes are riddles to be solved? Some of them are easy to decode, others more difficult. I'd like to share with you this particular verse of hers, which hides more than one mystery. First, you must realize that Humpty Dumpty is a symbol got our Earth. the read "between the lines." I've given you a clue for decoding the first layer of its message in my self-composed second verse.

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall

All the King's horses, and all the King's men
couldn't put Humpty together again.

No, all the King's horses, and all the King's men
couldn't put Humpty together again
until all the Queen's women forgave all the King's men
Then the miracle of love healed all Humpty's hurts
and made him whole and complete once again

******

So, if Humpty Dumpty is the Earth..perhaps it is a she not he..things are upside down..in this wonderland..
the Earth suffered a fall..and the women did not forgive the men? or vice-versa..

what do you think?

we can work on other's..if anyone wants to post a favorite of their's. ...

LOve, LIght, and MAgic to ALL...

Hi Lotus,

Sounds like the women forgave the men! This goes back to the beginning...

quote:
until all the Queen's women forgave all the King's men
Then the miracle of love healed all Humpty's hurts

Why do you believe it is the other way around?

Interesting post!

Ggod MOrning!

SilverStone..Oh I don't know if it is the other way or not..could be 50/50..
I guess what is important..is that all forgive one another, no matter who did what..it takes two..two to make it work or not. ...

I can only go by what I know..and have done..and that I have come full circle..and that I have forgiven all. ...

LOve and Light to ALL...

Agree!

It takes 2 to make it work! I also believe that it is important to forgive. That is probably one of the hardest things people find most difficult. I know I use to feel that way! But it sure does feel good to forgive. I feel more at peace when I do!

Who was Humpty Dumpty?
Humpty Dumpty was a colloquial term used in 15th century England to describe someone who was fat or obese - giving rise to lots of theories pertaining to the identity of Humpty Dumpty. However, in this case the question should be not Who was Humpty Dumpty but What was Humpty Dumpty? Humpty Dumpty was in fact an unusually large canon which was mounted on the protective wall of "St. Mary's Wall Church" in Colchester, England. It was intended to protect the Parliamentarian stronghold of Colchester which was in the temporarily in control of the Royalists during the period of English history, described as the English Civil War ( 1642 - 1649). A shot from a Parliamentary canon succeeded in damaging the wall underneath Humpty Dumpty causing the canon to fall to the ground. The Royalists 'all the King's men' attempted to raise Humpty Dumpty on to another part of the wall but even with the help of ' all the King's horses' failed in their task and Colchester fell to the Parliamentarians after a siege lasting eleven weeks.

There was nothing about a Queen.
