I had a very vivid dream in which I was levitating around a room in the presence of other people. I went up a few feet, was scared and dropped back to the floor. Again, I went up and around the room--but felt perhaps this practice might be evil. At that point, I awoke and coudn't return to sleep. When my husband woke up, he asked me "Were you dreaming last night?" I replied "Yes, how did you know??" He said that he had heard me sort-of moaning. I told him I had been levitating in my dream, and afraid of it. I should add that I had taken valerian root to help me sleep, and maybe that was the reason I had such a dream.

Thanks, Fayte, for responding. What you said was reassuring...One other thing, I DID ask for psychic dreams earlier in the evening--but I ended up frightened in my dream. It was so real..... I was certainly floating about a room, even though I was scared-- I DID repeat floating.
The dream is still with me, late in the afternoon.... I have had out-of-body experiences many years ago. I've been involved in psychic exploration for at least 30 years... That's why I'm so surprised that I ended up scared... Maybe it's all that Baptist training when I was a little girl....Maybe fear is deeply planted from childhood...

intersting story..i just saw this thread..i often have vivid dreams where i am floating around other people, in these dreams i'm usually aware of the fact that im dreaming, and show off to the people around me who can't do the same thing..heehee

it's so much fun zigging and zagging around them.. lol

Funny that I should notice this thread...

Last night I had a dream that I was levitating down the street. It feels incredibly wonderful to be able to levitate. I was also with a friend who I was trying to show how to levitate. I wonder if this is a common dream?

In the dream levitation was a fairly common gift that people could obtain with enough practice.
