Last night I saw a story on T.V. about the body of Saint Bernadette, how when they exhumed her body after 30 years of buriel, it was not decomposed. How is this possible? Do we just assign a miracle for the reasoning? What would physics/biology/science have to say about it? Her face is so pretty, young, and soft looking. Click here to read/see all about it, including many photos of her! Saint Bernadette IP: Logged |

I saw a movie yearssssssssss ago called "Milagro En Roma". (Miracle In Rome). Based on something like this.
The movie takes place in Colombia, South America and Rome, Italy.

Yeah, I have been to Lourdes. Could not go to Paris or somewhere close to that where her body is kept. Theres one saint whose grave smells of red roses even today. They dug her grave several times but no one knows why the smell comes.

WOW! I love the smell of roses. But then, who doesn't? You mean her body isn't kept in Lourdes anymore? I read the stories on that link. It's really cool and interesting. IP: Logged |

Yeah her body is not in Lourdes. Its 3-4 hour journey by train I believe from Lourdes. France has excellent railways.

It is just one example of a phenomenon known as "incorruptibility".There are many examples of this phenomenon. As far as I know, it is only observed in the bodies of those who have been known to have lived exceptionally saintly lives. IP: Logged |
