I know a lady who is a truly gifted psychic.
My experience with her was intense to put it mildly.
My brother moved in with her daughter so I'd visit sometimes and talk with her, she seems nice and lovely, but she smokes a heck of a lot of pot!
I wondered about her alot, because she seems crazy at times, she seldom makes sense and is rather absent minded.

One time I came over and no one was home except her, she invited me to stay for a few minutes and I sat down with her and talked.
She seemed really distant and zomby-like probably because she was really stoned, but then she started talking- that was the scary part.
She said a sentence, and I got chills down my body because she said exactly what I was thinking!!!
I looked at her and said "ummm, pardon?" and then she continued to read my thoughts.
At that point I was curious.
Some things she said were so deep I don't know how she was able to access that part of my mind!! It blew me away.
I got realy uncomfortable and asked why she was repeating my thoughts.
She didn't have an answer.

I left a few minutes later. Her daughter and my brother moved out recently because they couldn't live with her anymore.
And just last week she was admitted to a psych ward because she totally lost her mind.

She called me tonight and wanted to speak to me about something tomorrow.
It's great to know a true psychic, and I'm curious to talk with her more... but... she's also 'not all there' you know?
I think her psychic powers are making her mad.
I dunno.
She has no control over it.

Any thoughts?

Her drug use I feel, is affecting her in very negative ways.
Sounds like she is a trance reader, not a regular psychic, and is also a reciever.

I'm glad you had a terrific experience, and yes your gifts can make you mad, it is true that her drug use is adversly affecting her life, but her natal must be interesting, i'd try to find out her birth stats to maybe help her.

i met a woman who is a very good channeller....she gave up smoking pot five years ago cos she was channelling in some dark stuff....she had been smoking for 25 years and said she had sort of lost sight of herself...

I agree with fayte and neptune....the adverse effects etc

Actually I would be careful around her...!!

I want to also point out that a psychic can be biased or influenced by drugs or their own preconceptions, fears and so forth.
Even if really acurrate, they can misinterpret if under the influence.
Here is an example of a psychic, she was right but at the same time way off in what she thought she was "getting".

Sounds like my mother. A VERY psychic person...but she misinterprets what she picks up. Too much of her own dogmatic flavor gets added to her "sight".
For example:
She said that my husband is not what he seems! She said this to me:
He is a wizard or something. I see him in front of many people doing spells. I see his face all in black his whole body and I hear screams in the forest at night! There are demons and witches and fire. His eyes are glowing red.
VERY FUNNY mother!
The real story...that she misinterpreted was:
He was playing Nikki in the play."Bell Book And Candle"..he played a warlock.
About the same time he was in a Halloween Knights event. I met him there. It was a haunted hayride. I was a cannibal witch with braided hair to my feet....he was a forest wraith..dressed completely in black from head to toe. Even his head was covered. The face cover had two little red lights(the glowing red demon eyes my mother "saw"). One of the attractions was a witch being burned at the stake..full gas flames pyrotecnics! Screams of her and the actors playing various demons and all were heard throughout the dark October forest complete with reproduction medieval village.
Stupid woman my mother!
She does this alot!
So the woman you ran into may or may not be seeing something valid....she does not sound to be able to see without adding her own dogmatic bug a boos to her "seeings".

Yes it is
Only trouble with it being just amusing is that she makes death threats at us....
So it is hard to laugh.

But yes...it is funny in a twisted sort of way.

Oh....ouch, thats very harsh of her.Sorry .

Those who are dogmatic can be so hard to deal with. Its like they put their own ideas before anything else-even those they care about.
