quote:
"For centuries, India has been the symbol of the inner journey...it is a spiritual phenomenon. As far back as we know, people have been coming to India from all over the world in search of themselves. Something is in the very climate, something is in the very vibe that helps.

Perhaps, because for thousands of years the Eastern genius has been consistently in search of the soul, it has created a certain atmosphere. If you meditate in the East, it seems as if everything helps: the trees, the earth, the air. If you meditate in America you have to meditate alone--there is no help coming from anywhere."

Interesting, Mannu!

You may want to read about Shamanism, also... just a thought!

In spite of all that water borne diseases etc, its still a fascinating land. Some of the jungles there are still as deadly as any can be

I think Osho is talking about the intention of people over the years that still left the vibe there(India). And in the past, I was telling you same about why temples/churches are saved during tsunamis etc...Its all that people with genuine faith and devotion who come there that leaves a mark in temples/churches/etc.

OSHO was a FRAUD. period. i should know that . he comes from my community. he was a professor whose wife found him cheating with teenage girls. Pronto he starts a promiscous cult that exploits the west's lack of knowledge about TANTRIC beliefs and sold them " F**k till u drop and u will experience NIRVANA." Path. what crap. not to mention many of his disciples claimed he molested them. thats not to say his writings are not interesting. think of a suave used car salesman who tricks u into buying a car that can crash over a cliff.
THAT is him.

Well he was vibrating at a high frequency.
Perhaps sex not drugs was way to hold him back to his body.

I am not his follower but many are perhaps they can say what this guy really was about. But then who cares really unless who experienced him personally. I love his insights though very soul warming like a saggi and even more. Althought I do hear all this scandals surfacing about him even now. Latest is his disciples are now running to oneness movement (I posted a thread here), from Pune to South India

I love Osho and much of what he says resonates deep within my soul.

As far as him getting caught doing anything with anybody, I choose not to jugde, unless I have witnessed with my own eyes, I choose to live and let live.

I do not hold much, well, nothing to media anwyay.

Many in India believe that Osho was a fraud. I mean, seriously, can you believe in a man who calls himself God?

In fact some Hindus are so perturbed that they take offense if someone associates them or their religion with Osho. Look at the treatment the Govt. of USA meted out to Osho. They put him in jail.

Guy_me_19,

Could i ask you if have read OSHO? and how much you know his work yourself?

just think that whatever is written about someone holds little relevance to the the person of interest
what relevant is what that person is written or done himself....

Hi Guy19,

You are young and perhaps in time your opinion will change. Its wise to change our scale of understanding and then see if facts are still facts. Have you ever wondered what if constants are not constants any more. That is what if G - gravitation constant changes even a fraction or c - speed of light changes or
mass of proton to mass of electron changes. The whole universe will come tumbling down

There will always be debate on whether God can take garb of a human and still be 100% God. But not for true seekers. I am not shedding much details here on the metaphyhsics or enlightenment science.

Some of my own gurus I have met in person are one with Universal consciousness. And they boldly claim they are God. You can study them from all angles if you get an opportunity. But not every one is fortunate enough. Einstein won the whole world but why did he want to become a plumber in the end, didn't he? I am not trying to discourage people who pursue their goals in life, but want them to know of other possibilities out there.

Ofcourse we are Gods too but in this illusional world (Maya) we can't realize that truth. People are afraid to let go and let be. Though I must say all of us are flowers of God. Each one will bloom when their time comes.

Perhaps you must also read Patanjali - the Yogasutra he delivered was after being in touch with Universal consciousness.

Even Jesus was one with Universal consciousness. He didn't do all those miracle, they just happened around him thru the universal consciousness. He was an essene by training perhaps and did better than anyone before him in realizing his true self. God talked to us thru him. And mind it some of the miracles happened around him because of the people's own faith. Jesus himself said the same. God in reality does not have a left hand or a right hand. Those limited minded religious people created dogmas and are trapping people. Only a master is really worthy of casting nets. Every one else must call each other as friends. True seekers will know all this and laugh secretly at the world. Ever see the back of the dollar bill. Some very people are laughing at the US people.

Also I hear "Conversation with God?" by D.N Walsh is an account of him talking to his higher self which is God.

Of what I read of Osho, I think he was much closer to his divinity than any of us are.

You know there are some things that remain crystal clear but there are others about which the debate never ends. At the end of the day you listen to what your heart says and that is what I have done.

I put reason above blind faith. But when there is no reason then I lissun to what my heart says.
