Hi MCV - I'm not an expert but with numbers I always reach for my trusty Star Signs book and check out what Linda had to say

In Linda's Star Signs book the first sentence regarding 13 is "13 is not an unlucky number, as many people believe". it is described as the number of regeneration and change and also says "the ancients claimed that 'he who understands how to use the number 13 will be given power and dominion." - there is good stuff which I can type up for you if you want.
Now 'Thirteen' as a word in numerology is 31 - which is the number of the recluse - the hermit - it is described as self-contained, self-sufficient but also lonely and isolated from others. There is genius and high intelligence here but also "At some unexpected time in the life, the glittering promises of the world will be suddenly rejected for the peace and quiet of Nature, or...retreat from society in some manner." Now if you use 'Number 13' you get 18, part of the description here is "...materialism striving to destroy the spiritual side of the nature...bitter quarrels...wars...social upheavals..." etc.
My suggestion - stick with the '13' and understand as much as you can bout it to use it's power and avoid it's "...potential for negative..."
Why don't you get a nice plate with some decorative emblem of your star sign on it or a good luck symbol such as a four leaf clover

Oh, just had another thought you could find out the numerology of your whole address and have that on the plate - i.e 13 Willow Road - you dont have to put ur address up here (protect ur privacy etc ) if u don't have Star Signs I'd be happy to type up Linda's chart for letters and number value so u can do it urself

I can't believe America's superstition with number 13.

My carrier's aeroplanes don't have row #13.
Most buildings in newyork does not have 13th floor.

Hahaha...

Okay, I have run some numbers like this 13 Amethyst Street/Road/Avenue/Close/Court and Lane (as I said u don’t have to provide this personal info – I can always post the alphabet chart so you can do the adding urself if u want)
What I got was the following:
13 Amethyst is an 8 (as Amethyst is also 13)
13 Amethyst Road/Avenue and Lane all come down to an 18
13 Amethyst Avenue is a 14
13 Amethyst Close is a 16
13 Amethyst Court is a 35
Now firstly Linda says (and is quite right) no number is perfect each has it’s positive and negative points but some have more positive and some more negative. The double numbers are called compound which “reveal karmic influences and foreshadow the destiny of (in this case)…the entity it represents; Single numbers represent how the entity is seen by others – so ur house number – 13 is the compound number (karmic) and 1 + 3 = 4, so 4 is the single number how others see ur house.

In brief the above calculations have these influences 18 was discussed above;
14 is Movement…Challenge…magnetic communication wth the public, writing, publishing and media; periodic changes in business/partnerships are beneficial; speculative matters bring luck; movement and travel are fortunate; BUT 14 warns of danger from accidents related to natural elements, fire, flood, etc; there is also a risk of being mislead by trusting the word of others – 14 advises you to use ur instinct and intuition.
16 is The Shattered Citadel, warns of strange fatality, danger of accidents and defeat of one’s plans. Linda actually advises that if you can, change the spelling of a name to avoid this vibration…
35 is the same as 26 Partnerships…vibrates to a strange kind of power based on compassion or unselfishness wth the ability to help others but not always urself. It also warns of danger, disappointments and failures especially regarding the ambitions, brought about through bad advice, associations with others and unhappy partnerships – again she says if you can change the spelling do so…
Now the 8 on it’s own as a vibration has a whole section (too long to type out) because along with number 4 they are described as the numbers of fate and destiny or karma; I’ll just give you the first sentence of this section “…These are known (especially when combined) as the ‘Numbers of Fate’ and the ‘Numbers of Karma’ and hard luck seems to pursue those whose lives are dominated by the 4 and the 8…”

Now true 13 on it’s own does reduce to 4, so it’s kind of a catch 22 I guess, but Linda does say that the 4 is not so heavy an influence as is the 8 and can be recognised as a helpful means to discipline one’s self in the present incarnation which is…quite positive in a spiritual sense.

In short (too late )going by these that I’ve calculated I’d stick with 13 on it’s own – it’s not so ‘unlucky’ or negative as the others and I think the lovebirds idea is lovely
and if there's 2 lovebirds that's kind of like adding 2 to 13 which is 15 - which is brilliant - 15 "...carries an essence of enchantment with it..."

Hope this helps u make ur decision...
