I have been studying up on meditation and the universe. I am now reading a book called "The science of Success" (great book - highly recommended for everyone) and I have decided to put to use some of the knowledge I've gained from it...There was this girl, Misty, who I had been friends with for nine years; BEST friends. We were very close. Then two years ago we had a fall out, and we hadn't said as much as one word to each other in two years.
Well, about a month ago I thought about her and how I wanted to start talking to her again. I decided to ask the universe just to see if the prayer-meditation thing really worked.
The VERY NEXT DAY, Misty IMed me! Weird! And we connected in the same way we had all those years. It felt as though we had never stopped talking. We are now best friends, once again. I seriously could not ask for a better friend. She's an Aries sun and Asc, so she doesn't give a damn about what other people think- I envy her because of it :P So a couple weeks after that, I prayed again. I was having a very difficult time getting over an ex, and I needed a new guy (Not just any guy, a guy who was into mysticism- I hate the jock-ish boys - ick). I was sick of being heartbroken, so I told the universe exactly what kind of guy I wanted- An open-minded Scorpio or Pisces, who would understand my beliefs and not run away from me.
The next day, I was at the library printed out some things about Einstein (I put his quotes on my binder for school) and I saw a tall, dark-haired, scorponic-built guy looking at me in a scorpio way. I just smiled and kept typing...then he approached me! He gave me his number. He had shiny, green eyes and I knew the second I saw them he was the guy I wanted. We aren't going to date, but we love to discuss astrology, reincarnation, and numerology for hours on end...He tells me stories about the stars and the universe when I have trouble sleeping on school nights (stars have always been what I turned to for therapy- ever since I was five) And guess what he is? A Pisces! With Sun, Venus, and Mercury in the 8th house! Oh, and I introduced him to Linda Goodman. He's reading Star Signs! I love my life at this point. I could not be any happier <3 Oh and I LOVE my new school. It's PERFECT  IP: Logged |

Oh and also, I wanted to share with you something I read.James Ray (the author), says that you can have anything you dream of, no matter how rediculous it sounds. If you want to become a millionaire, all you have to do is BELIEVE you are one (say to yourself, or write down: "I am a millionaire") and your subconscious mind will know you aren't, so it will do everything possible to manifest your request/dream. He says that you shouldn't say "I will be" or "Sometime", you have to think in present tense; if you want a specific job, just truely believe you have it. It will manifest  My first day of school was Friday (at a brand new school!) and I was certain that it would be a good year. There were plenty of things to be worried about that I had heard from many people, but I forced myself to believe it would be wonderful. Finally, my worrying ended completely on the bus ride there, and the optimistic feeling came naturally.
I LOVE that school...I made sooo many friends the first day, I have great classes. I love it. I'm in two clubs- Junior Civitans and Future Business Leaders of America (my cappy stellium is rejoicing over the last one)  ------------------

I have no doubts about anything you or your author is saying. I have experienced many similar events. I feel inspired to tell you to just "be careful what you wish for" and try to always ask that Divine Will for the final "edit" on your prayer/wish. You don't want to receive a certain guy you mapped out for yourself when the Universe has an even better guy out there for you, or if All Knowledge and All Wisdom Knows it's best for you to be alone for a while instead.
I did a similar thing 10 years ago and I am finally recovering from the effects I set in motion. God/Universe made the best of my choices, but I chose a very painful path. I had thought that if I wasn't asking for a specific person, it was ok, but it turns out that by asking for a mate with specific qualities, I WAS asking for a specific person after all. I knew him the minute I saw him, and his eyes were deep pools. A few weeks later, at the moment before our first kiss, we were sitting on a bench surrounded by nature. About twenty butterflies appeared and began to dance around us. It was one of the most mystical moments I had ever experienced.

Mystic Melody- Divine Will, huh? Never heard of that (I don't think), but it sounds like a much better ending to a prayer  Maybe I should pray for my new biology teacher, lol. She's so wrapped up in Christianity she shouldn't be a SCIENCE teacher, for God's sake! Everytime evolution comes up, she says "Not that evolution is real, we didn't come from monkeys."
I got sick of hearing it so I said "You know, scientists consider evolution as a fact now."
She got all offended (must be a scorpio!) and raised her voice trying to argue with me. You know what her best comeback was? "Don't believe what all the scientists say!"
Um, they study it for a damn living! I think I'd rather believe them rather than a Southern, 10th grade Biology teacher.
And THEN she came back with "Okay, then. If we came from monkeys, then why are they still around?" Good Lord. Hey, Aquarius and Libra mixed can make for a good scientific debator  ------------------

LG: I totally feel you, now that is how its done. I have had that happen to me over and over and over. Your story is so inspiring. Its true send out in the universe a feeling or a message to a certain person that is meant to be in your life and watch what happens. We have so much power and a lot of ppl have no idea. Yes I back that up, A Pisces person period with Sun, venus and Merc in the 8th is quite a charming person... IP: Logged | |
