Almost 1 year ago my Grandfather was suddenly diagnosed with Colon & Liver Cancer. He is 79 years old and had never been to a doctor his entire life. He's very against the medical business and is one of the healthiest people I know. To find out of this genetic cancer was devastating knowing how well he has taken care of himself.
He is our "everything". A huge part of everyone in our families lives.
All my family flew out from the East Coast when they heard the news.
When we rushed him to the hospital that day last year the doctors said to his face "You're a goner."
We were disgusted the actual surgeon would say that. If that was his intentions and he was performing the surgery we were sure he would manifest what he thought and kill my Grandpa. We found another surgeon and he performed surgery within a couple days.
He was withered down to 105 lbs.
The doctors didn't think he'd make the operation because of how weak he was. He hadn't been able to eat because of the blockage of the cancer for months but had refused to go to the doctors.
The doctors also said if he miraculously survived the surgery he'd only live maybe 6 months or so.
Flashforward 1 year later.
My Grandpa defied the doctors, defied science, defied everything that was said.
He is healthy and more alive than ever. He gained 50 pounds back over the course of a year and at 80 years old is jogging around the track at the park, busy on the go with a new zest for life.
He never had chemotherapy- he told the doctors he'd rather die than go through chemo as he believes chemo kills you anyway.
Instead he went the alternative route.. he watches his sugar intake, takes multi vitamins daily, exercises...and more importantly is the most positive man on the planet.
The beauty of this also is that it brought some of our family that had quarrels together once again.
AND my Grandfather was the most negative, cynical man on the face of this earth for almost 80 years.
After the operation he became a "new man." We can't believe who this man is! He's so positive, LOVES to live, talks about the power of positive thinking is what keeps us alive! We never thought we'd hear the day ...
and the doctors never thought they'd see the day.
A miracle and a blessing.
