Just received a call from my daughter who was very sad and reliving sad feelings of her inner child-earlier today coming in from work, there was a small brown bird sitting very still staring at me from the inside "balconey" across from my condo. Immediately I knew it was a messenger symbol of my 'little girl' daughter who was sad and depressed and scared-(My daughter is a grown woman in her earth suit)
I went up north to look out for my mom a bit and renewed my knowing of my nephew (a triple Pisces). We talked a lot about death and some of the psychic phenomena that had passed between us in the years. Anyway, very sadly, this young man lost his life at 26, just before Christmas. Before his death he had told me that he would send me an unusual acting white bird after he died to let me know he was ok. I agreed not thinking his death would occur within weeks! After returning to the Gulf coast after the funeral, arriving back on Christmas day-I saw a solid white dove sitting on the front walk of my apartment. This bird was around for weeks- it would let me hold it and my cats who are serial killers did not bother it! It was to the point the neighbors noticed and commented that this was a spiritual thing-I deal with my nephew often-he was 6'3" with beautiful white blonde hair to the waist kept neat and pulled back, a gleaming silver light he was and is.
Today at work I left the sliding back doors to the patio open and some birds just hopped in and watched me work- they were grackles shiny black and brown- very unusaul them entering the building like that-i do not know their message

Birds are extremely special

------------------
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

I have always loved birds in nature--love to observe them. For the meaning, it is a very personal thing, with the message following an event of the bird's initial presence.

I have a 14 yr old daughter that was born with a severe heart defect and upon the approaching of her openheart surgery to repair her broken heart, a white dove, with a black ring around it's neck began to visit my feeder regularly (never seen one before and have not since!) I named him Mozart. Her surgery went well, and is doing amazingly, but will always be followed by a cardiologist and may need more surgery in the years to come. The white bird symbolized to me, peace, thus healing to her, but the black ring around his neck reminds me that the anomolies of her heart warrent continuous consideration.

This one I have not figured out yet-----

Not too long ago, I was in my bathroom preparing for my day when I heard this awful "bird noise" coming from outside my "chamber door!" Upon invistigation I witnessed a giant Raven, sitting in a tree situated closely to my chamaber door (have french doors that lead outside to a deck from my bedroom.) I was sitting my mom's little cocker spaniel at the time and Betsy (the dog) and I just stood there in awe of this giant bird and watched her collect ball moss from my trees and eventually fly off to build her nest. I have been in South Texas for 23 years and have NEVER seen a Raven in a human populated neighborhood--they are much too elusive to come around houses! Hmmmm, strange--still contemplating her visit. Poe's poem, "The Raven" was somewhat helpful in bringing me an answer, but am still not satisfied---still I ponder.

There are these awesome Red Hawks that "guard" our roads here. I mean, really, they sit upon the street light poles, a few miles apart (they are territorial) and I have often thought that they are guarding the roads and highways that they live near!

Yea, birds are SO cool!

It is a ddbl post! so sorry- same story twice by me-LOL-well, I always say I am blonde and blind!
Did not want to use that word "psychic" in title- it has bothered me a lot. It is not really my beliefs to use some words...but lack the right words to say at times- Actually am comfortable with most experiences and do not consider them out of the ordinary at all- certainly not "psychic". also must confess to seeking your attention so as to balance a bit-get to my feet or wings awhile. thank you from me-ow
