Hi everyone..

I found numerology before finding astrology, so I thought it time for me to make a post 'round this part of the forum!

I haven't looked in depth through the pages at all, but I'm just wondering if anyone has a few words to share about the lifepath number 33/6. Maybe even some links!

Thank you! This is my number and I'm struggling to deal with the double whammy of self-expression and sensitivity...

What system is that? Is it like the compound number in Chaldean numerology? I have written a program that details what Linda wrote about these numbers, but don't really have much to add. I am a triple three and find it a great number. The fact that yours adds to six I feel is pretty powerful - it's like the next evolution of the six. Plus, you know what linda said about 3, 6, 9, and 3, 9, 6. Very ahrmonious and powerful numbers. I love the 6 (literrally). Who doesn't? The 6 is the number of Love and 3 of harmony, so you have double harmony with the reult of Love.

Well, anyhow, maybe I did have something to say about that.

Heaps of Love,
Dean.

Hey Shirty!
I'm also a 33, by some accounts.
my birthday: 11/6/1978
1+1+6+1+9+7+8 = 33
(other methods of adding give 24/6 or 42/6)

----------------------------------------------

There are 3 double-digit numbers that, while they are rooted in the single-digit numbers, require special emphasis and attention. These are 11, 22, and 33.

The number 11 represents the vision.
The number 22 combines vision with action
The number 33 offers guidance to the world.
They are called Master numbers because they possess more potential than other numbers. They are highly charged, difficult to handle, and require time, maturity, and great effort to integrate into one's personality.

Master numbers indicate spiritual gifts - a higher sensitivity to intuition, and a greater ability to be in touch with higher guidance. The challenge for those with master numbers in their chart, is to live up to their spiritual potential.

from: http://www.decoz.com/Masternumbers.htm

The Master Number 33/6 is the highest Master Number acknowledged by many traditional texts ... perhaps because its strong emphasis on both love and intellect seemed once to represent the height of human potential. Some texts speak of its potential in terms approaching Divinity ... and some writings refer to Master Number 33/6 as the Avatar, the human representation of Divinity on earth.

Meanwhile, please note that to own a Master Number vibration is to own tremendous potential ... but potential can still go unfulfilled ... or even become corrupted. Any Master Number can still resonate only to its lower vibration until and unless the soul who owns it brings its gifts out for development. To simply own a Master Number is no indication of special greatness ... let alone perfection. It simply indicates the seeds for such exist.

from: http://www.enchantedspirit.org/Numerology/24.php

The 33 is the most influential of all numbers. It is the Master Teacher. The 33 combines the 11 and the 22 and brings their potential to another level. When expressed to the fullest, the 33 lacks all personal ambition, and instead focuses its considerable abilities toward the spiritual uplifting of mankind. What makes the 33 especially impressive, is the high level of sincere devotion. This is shown in its determination to seek understanding and wisdom before preaching to others. The 33 in full force is extremely rare.

Its ultimate potential is in teaching. It is called the Christ number. It comforts others. It represents self-sacrifice and beliefs in Utopia.

Your Life Path is 6

You possess great compassion and seek to be of service to others. You have concern for the weak and the downtrodden. You are a healer and a helper to others. You are capable of giving comfort to those in need and will frequently offer a shoulder for others to cry on. Your task in life is to develop the tools necessary to be truly helpful to others, rather than to simply be a sympathetic ear. You must find the balance between help and interference. In the same way, you must learn the delicate art of the counselor who knows when to leave the struggle to others and when to avoid taking away the necessary experiences and lessons of life. You are naturally balanced. Therefore, you are well equipped to support and ground others in times of trial.

It is in your nature to take on responsibility -- you often fill the void left by others -- and do not turn away from personal sacrifice. At times, you may feel overburdened by the travails of others. However, the love others bestow upon you is your well deserved reward. You try to maintain harmony within the family or group, balancing and fusing divergent forces. You seek marriage and are often a wonderful parent, offering warmth, protection, and understanding to children. You are generous, kind, and attractive. You are often admired even adored which baffles you. You are humble and yet you carry a deep pride. You move well and gracefully, but will have to work to stay in shape. Seek out physical exercise and limit the sweets and dairy you crave to keep yourself from becoming plump and round. When young, you must be careful not to chose partners for the wrong reasons. Do not let sentimentality influence your decision, especially those involving the choice of a spouse. You need to be needed, but must learn to discriminate between those you can help and others who are made weaker by your care. After all, it is in your nature to be attracted to the weaker brothers and sisters among us.

The temptation and the danger for you is to think of yourself as the savior of the world, carrying the burdens of others on your shoulders. You are blessed with musical talent, as well as in the visual and performing arts. However, your creativity may well be suppressed due to your willingness to sacrifice, or your inability to fully appreciate your talents. This is not to say that you cannot excel in these areas; on the contrary, you have the talent, and with effort you can make a success in a number of artistic fields.

You also have enormous talent in business. You are blessed with a great deal of charm and charisma, which you use effectively to attract the people and support you need.

6 Life Path (alt. interpretation)

6 (6, 15/6, 24/6, 33/6)
The Life Path 6 suggests that you entered this plane with tools to become the ultimate nurturer, and a beacon for truth, justice, righteousness, and domesticity. Your paternal, or maternal, as the case may be, instincts with a 6 Life Path exceed all others by a considerable margin. Whether in the home or in the work place, you are the predominant caretaker and family head. While the 6 may assume significant responsibilities in the community, the life revolves around the immediate home and family, for this is the most domestic of numbers. Conservative principles and convictions are deeply ingrained and define your character.

You are idealistic and must feel useful to be happy. The main contribution you make is that of advice, service, and ever present support. You are a humanitarian of the first order. It is your role to serve others, and you start in the home environment. You are very humane and realistic about life, and you feel that the most important thing in your life is the home, the family and the friends.

This is the Life Path related to leadership by example and assumption of responsibility, thus, it is your obligation to pick up the burden and always be ready to help. If you are like the majority with Life Path 6, you are one who will willingly carry far more than your fair share of any load, and you are always there when needed. In doing so, you take ownership and often become an authority over the situation.

In romance, the 6 is loyal and devoted. As a caretaker type, you are apt to attract partners who are somewhat weaker and more needy than yourself; someone you can care for and protect. The main ingredient that must prevail in the relationship is complete harmony. You don't function well in stressful relationships that become challenges for you to control. It is the same with friends, you are loyal and trustworthy. But there is a tendency for you to become dominating and controlling.

It's likely you feel compelled to function with strength and compassion. You are a sympathetic and kind person, generous with personal and material resources. Wisdom, balance, and understanding are the cornerstones of your life, and these define your approach to life in general. Your extraordinary wisdom and the ability to understand the problems of others is apt to commence from an early age. This allows you to easily span the generation gap and assume an important role in life early on.

The number 6 Life Path actually produces few negative examples, but there are some pitfalls peculiar to the path. You may have a tendency to become overwhelmed by responsibilities and a slave to others, especially members of you own family or close friends. It's easy for you to fall into a pattern of being too critical of others; you also have a tendency to become to hard on yourself. The misuse of this Life Path produce tendencies for you to engage in exaggeration, over-expansiveness, and self-righteousness. Modesty and humility may not flow easily. Imposing one's views in an interfering or meddling way must be an issue of concern.

The natural burdens of this number are heavy, and on rare occasions, responsibility is abdicated by persons with this Life Path 6. This rejection of responsibility will make you feel very guilty and uneasy, and it will have very damaging effects upon your relationships with others.

Thank you for your kind words, sesame! I had a look at your program. It's really interesting!

Heart - I'm a 33/6 by the same calculation, adding up the digits of my full birthday.

I enjoyed those interpretations. They definitely rang true for me..

how have you dealt with it thus far? Do you too find yourself in that trap of helping others but sacrificing yourself too much? I tend to go from one extreme to the other.. I'll be there for everyone and then all of a sudden it becomes too much so I shrink back into myself, which is frustrating for the people who are close to me.

Very interesting stuff! Thank you

Hello, fellow Numerology lovers.

I also (by some addition accounts) am a 33/6. 4+3+1+9+8+8= 33/6... I remember googling this for the first time back about eight months ago. Some of it, suprisingly 'rang' true for me. However, I believe that one must master the '6' before heading into the higher vibration; most people I believe stay in the 'lower vibration' maybe because it's easier; who knows...

However, I also believe that anyone can have a 'master vibration' life; even without the numbers 11, 22, and/ or 33 in their chart...

I feel like I am integrating multiple personalities, - archetypes, more or less, - within myself. They play out their respective mythologies, inter-acting with one another (changing one another), upon the stage of my consciousness. I am somehow Mercury, as I listen, consider, and interpret their various cues and tongues. It is a challenge never to identify myself with the part I am "interpreting", so that I am prepared, at any moment, to play each successive part with equal conviction, allowing every citizen of my unconscious a right to raise a conscious voice. I am the ressurrector of the restless spirits within me. There is much to untangle, so many fated threads, before I can weave my masterpiece.

wow...maybe i'm not crazy then! Perhaps all of us 33/6's should start an online support group?! i've always felt sorta like an alien around other people....feeling what they're thinking and then being confused when what they say doesn't match what i'm feeling from them...or the stuff i have always just "known". Even when i was a kid. Especially when i was a kid. Once i figured out what many of the grown-ups around me were thinking/feeling, i wanted to postpone adulthood as long as possible! Thanx for all the info on 33/6's...it rang amazingly true. Lots O'Love, Krista

Hi Shirty: Have you read the book that Nick Newmont published a couple years back? Called Newmerology I found it very good if you haven't. He also uses compound numbers, and while his writing style is a little stilted, his perceptions are pretty darn interesting. Your local library might have it. Mine does- Also, I am a 33/6 - cheers

Hi everyone,

I haven't checked this section of the forum in a while and I nearly forgot about this thread!

HSC your words are very inspiring.. I think it is in acknowledging the constant struggle and change within each of us that we learn the most.

Node-
No I haven't heard of that book! I'll be sure to check it out next time I'm at the bookstore or library. THe only numerology book I have is called "The Life You Were Born to Live." My mom gave it to me years ago, before I was ever interested in astrology.

Another question to put out there for you 33/6s..

I recently started seeing someone who's number is also 33/6. I only found out just the other night when I was adding the digits of his birthday. Interestingly, my roommate also shares this number with me.

My question to you is, do you think it is 'too much' to be in a relationship with someone who shares the energy of 33/6, or do you think we can help each other feel less alienated? We are very much on the same wave length, but I could see us having similar issues. This could magnify the good aspects of a relationship as well as the more difficult ones.

It's great to hear from you guys when I'm feeling weighed down by the world.

Sesame,
If 6 is Love & 3 is Harmony, is 9 universal harmony/perfection?.
