Yesterday, a thought popped into my head about perhaps doing more to reach out to a dear friend who is also a long-lost love (this is the Piscean guy for those of you who know my story), than just the emails we have been exchanging off & on. I'm not sure that calling will help, because his voicemail is set to come on after the 2nd ring, and I'm hesitant to leave a message...

Anyhow, I'd opened the wrapper to this piece of Dove chocolate, and what message should pop up (in the wrapper; gotta love these little individually wrapped pieces of chocolate!), but "Write a real letter, not just an email"!! I was really surprised, and the next one I opened said the same thing, and it struck a chord.

A couple hours later, I sat to meditate before I went to bed, and felt this message, to "do the following, and I'd be back with him in a week's time". I was really stunned, nearly fell out of my bed, and of course, missed the rest because I had gotten so psyched with what I'd felt that I'd lost that receptive mode!!

Anyhow, today, I happened to have my Venus Return (which is probably why I'm so buzzed and can't sleep yet), and Astro.com listed the following under the "Venus conjunct Venus" transit for me:

"* Things of beauty *
This is a time to take the initiative in all kinds of relationships, especially love relationships. If you reveal your love for someone at this time, it may turn the relationship in a new direction. Even if you believe that your loved one knows how you feel, don't leave it to his imagination...... "

Yet another sign? I'm just wondering if all these signs seem to be coming at me because I've been obsessing so much about this lately (I've been feeling so lost & lonely going through a rough divorce, and missing him all the more since he was my best friend, and I'm really needing his support now), or if the Universe is seriously sending me a sign to go ahead with that original thought I'd had, and write him. I'm a true Cappy, I guess, and must think a million before I take any action!!

What do you guys think? Any vibes or thoughts on this?

I did sit down to write him a letter!! A nice, long handwritten one... and I was thinking too, about how the last couple times I tried calling him, it had gone to voicemail; wondered if/when I'd be able to talk to him. A voice inside said to try calling him again...

So, I did.. I followed my intuition last night, when I suddenly felt this sense of urgency about calling, I paid heed, and called right away without questioning it or giving it much thought, and I was floored when he answered on the first ring!!! I had not really thought about what I'd say, so it caught me by surprise; he seemed surprised too (we've not spoken over the phone in over 2 years), but responded warmly, and we talked for a good three-quarters of an hour about our lives, and where we're at!! Before we hung up, he said he'd talk to me again later, sounding a bit surprised (we found that the easy rapport we'd always had was there once again between us)!

I was really amazed at how empowering it feels, to actually listen to that Voice within, and to honor it. My Capricorn stellium and rx Saturn usually have me analyzing every little thing & trying to plan & be so prepared, and I tend not to be very spontaneous, so it felt so wonderfully exhilarating to let the intuitive side take over for a change, and just do it, with no fears or reservations!!

I'm so moved... Intuition.. it's a powerful thing!!!
