I think she generally tells people what they want to hear. Most of the time the thing's she says cannot be validated. I also think that her ego is overdeveloped for such a spiritual woman. I don't think she has bad intentions though, she wants people to be happy.IP: Logged |

Very true blueroamer. Eatbooks, seems to me that you were thinking the same thing i was, a while ago i calculated sylv's chart and i wasn't too impressed, last time i looked at it i think i noticed that my moon/uranus/neptune/pluto aspects were stronger than sylv's, and my pallas (wisdom/intution) is conjunct my AC in Virgo. On top of that psychics generally heal the psyche of common people, and i don't think i seen any significant chiron aspects, while i have sun and pluto trine chiron and chiron sextile AC, but i'm more intuititve and quiet about my notions. Going back to what you stated, sylvia does tell the public what they want to hear, their reactions also reflect the ingenuinity of her false messages. to think of it that way. (i had a thread a while back ago on, i think, universal codes, called "Sylvia Browne: Authentic Psychic or Sinister Hoax")
------------------ Virgo Rising 8'57, Sagittarius Sun/4thH 3'26, Pisces Moon/6thH 8'22 "Our passions are not too strong, they are too weak. We are far too easily pleased." - C.S. Lewis "Beauty is eternity gazing at itself in a mirror." - Kahlil Gibran IP: Logged |

also, a little fact that she added 'e' to the end of her name for her 'stage name', but this little fact points to a larger issue: What genuine psychic needs a stage name, or even wants one for that matter.
(heres a copy of her chart, now you can see it without clicking any where which is easier) ------------------ Virgo Rising 8'57, Sagittarius Sun/4thH 3'26, Pisces Moon/6thH 8'22 "Our passions are not too strong, they are too weak. Well, as a Libra maybe she couldn't decide on a name. (Hubby is a true Libra lol.)Just recently I picked up a few of her books and she doesn't seem to be way off the mark. What she talks about resonates with what many psychics say about their gifts. She has a different voice in her books than on TV. (She gave me the creeps too) As I understand, many of her past reletives were psychic, so maybe it's a lineage thing. I find hope in many psychic's writings. I'm not an astrology person. I'd be curious about the charts of some other admired psychics. Doreen Virtue, John Edwards, Edgar Cayce, Stuart Wilde, James Van Praagh, Esther Hicks, Jane Roberts, Debra Katz...
