Hi ,

I've been scared of the 4 and 8 influences for a while, and my life isn't really great so i want to change my name around. Please help?

My life path equals a 4. that stays. my expression and soul purpose are both 8's in my name. I can change my name to two different names.... but one name would give me a 4 as the expression number. I just read Star Signs, the 4 and 8 chapter, in the bookstore, and she's not clear (to me at least) on this: at the bottom of page 213 she says that if you're a 4 (she doesn't clarify which four, which is why i'm confused) you should not have another 4. is this correct??

Additionally, i looked at another numerology site, and it says that 4 and 8's are not in essence bad, but the name numbers need to be even numbers, and they need to be higher than the life path (if the life path is either a 4 or 8, I guess). My two options for changing my name would be: #1 name - both soul purpose and expression numbers would be 5's. (odds) Name #2 would have the soul purpose as a 7 and the expression as a 4. Now, I'm scared about the 4, and additionally, neither new name follows the rules of the other numerology site. Can you help? Thanks so much.

Bblove, she does not talk about a life path number, like I have heard some do....

there are your birth numbers, and what your name comes, to, Linda says, you can change them (the names) for a better vibration, or you can throw yourSelf into them...
4 is destiny
8 is fate....

the thunderbolt path of karma
and at this point, in the earth cycle

I would stick with them....

or, is it that bad???

4 destiny, is more like, change and disruption, which is unavoidable, due to karma...hehe
does that make sense....

increase the infinity 8
and the 4 will not be so bad. ...

Well, there are two things I would like to point out. 1. Star Signs as mentioned in the intro needs to be read from start to finish as there are many concepts and lessons that are taught in sequence. 2. The system she uses is different and hence the values could be different. Her system (the Chaldean system) talks about karmic numbers and personal numbers - ie how your personality is influenced by numerology and astrology - they are combined in the Chaldean system. If you email me your name (sesame@linda-goodman.com) I could email you what these values mean, and if you provide your birth and possible names, I could email those too. I used to have my program on-line, but it is not possible at the moment. In any case, if you buy the book, you could stand in the running to win a LOT of understanding!
