I've been experiencing many of these same issues lately. See my self-esteem thread and also karmic justice thread. I think we are going through something similar. I honestly do not believe that there is a cure for being hyperaware the way that we are.I think instead of shutting off or hiding from your awareness you must bring it into fruition, on 6 cylinders, so to speak. Take time for yourself to recharge but also maintain your awareness, it is a beautiful gift that few possess. Never stop dreaming or hoping for something better, even in your darkest hour you must maintain a slim shred of hope, anything that you can cling to. You are not selfish, no one would think that of you, by opening this discussion you allow your past pains to surface, integrating this pain into you psyche completely is a huge step towards whatever peace you may seek. BlueRoamer...I have just taken a look at the thread about karmic justice....have you ever seen a film called 'Pay It Forward' with the boy actor who was in the '6th Sense' and Kevin Spacey? Sad, but SO, SO beautiful. And the Celestine Prophecy...they made it into a film you can get online now. You may find these two stories inspiring.IP: Logged |
