Enlightenment. Knowing of the Oneness. The Oneness being infinite love is the only truth; everything else is illusion.I think that this is all 'enlightenment' means. I feel it doesn't suddenly make someone a perfect Saint or a 'Master'. In fact I don't think you have to be enlightened to perform 'miracles'- manifest 'miracles' scientifically as a qualified metaphysician Nirvana. Being within the infinite love; bliss, ecstasy, wholeness. I think that while we're here, we are never 'free'. All we can do is adjust in the best way to our set of circumstances and DNA; use our mind, the faithful servant and our intuition, the gift to tame our reactions and 'practice makes perfect'. "In fact I don't think you have to be enlightened to perform 'miracles'- manifest 'miracles' scientifically as a qualified metaphysician"True, miracles occur whether we know it or not, but being enlightened allows a person to create miracles with a purpose. Enlightenment gives us the opportunity to know that we are in a state of creating miracles and it allows us to choose the miracles we desire to create at a particular moment. It's like breathing or blinking. We do it sub-consciously, but when we actually observe our blinking and breathing, that's when they become miracles because to observe your body, and see what it can do, makes you realise how magnificent the human body truly is. Also LTT...I personally think that being free is what we are, the rest of this limitedness we feel is an illusion that needs to exist in order to experience relativity, because had we been free all the time, we'd be awfully bored. So, we move in these cycles of limitedness and freedom, so that we can experience the different levels of limitedness in order to feel the complementary state of freedom. All I am saying is that, we are free, but we need to be limited to know how it feels to be free. I think that Masters are thus called because they have mastered this limited/free state of being. They are able to choose which they desire to be when they feel like it. I, on the other hand, am not a Master, and I am still like a child learning how to walk, doing wonderful things and not knowing how I did them, and finding myself in places where I do not desire to be. We can be free LTT. Don't lose hope, if that's where you are. One day, your desire for freedom will evolve you to that place where you can control this reality, and this is when you will be free when you choose just like the Masters. I agree with you, I just felt like expanding upon your point. I was not debating you. IP: Logged |
