i was looking at audio books on meditation and i ran across one about past life regression. i was wondering if i should do it one day? i was kind of afraid that i might witness myself kill someone. that would be really scary. but i wanted to know if it is something that i should do or just leave my past lives in the past?------------------ Yes i'm a capricorn with an aries moon and gemini rising. oh yea... Obviously this must be a personal choice for you...I do suggest that if you decide to try it out, have a trusted "spiritually aware" friend present. Wow... big decision, huh? ------------------ Sendin' love your way, "your friend in spirit" IP: Logged |

I have recently sent off for a postal reading, which will take some time to arrive, but when it does, I'll let you folks here know what I make of it!IP: Logged |

Let me know please if this works any for you,it seems to me this is the next step in my search and according to my astrological chart I do have two planets in retro and one of them means I had committed suicide in a past life which a healer told me the same thing, but she also knows my b-date so it would be very easy to just look at my chart and see the same thing I am seeing and then come up with that answer. I need a way to know on my own by another method and find out if this indeed is something I need to explore to fix anything from the past now.Thank you. To tell yo the truth I am not even sure about all these beleifs but I'll play the game.

I'm not sure either, but I have a burning desire to find out, that's why I knew I had to send off for this reading. It's a fairly well-known author who does them.IP: Logged |

Past life regressions can be totally worthless and for entertainment purpose only; or they trigger things to come fore one is not ready to deal with. Worse, what if you suddenly find yourself seeing through the eyes of a past life identity before electricity or cars? The culture shock alone could throw one into what seems to be a multiple personality state, or if while driving it suddenly comes forward, one could suddenly freak and forget how to drive, let alone know what a car is. Yes, it can indeed be that intense! This is not a thing to play idly with. ------------------ "Heaven doesn't want me and Hell is afraid I'll take over and start a rehab for the damned!" ~Judgement Must Be Balanced With Compassion~ ~Do Not Seek Wealth From The Suffering, Or The Dire Needs Of Others~ ~Assumption Is The Bane Of Understanding~ ~ if you keep doing what you did, you'll keep getting what you got.~ Everything changes. Hypnosis can be dangerous. At least, when used in an entertainment situation it can be dangerous- that I've heard about on TV where a guy couldn't function normally anymore due to these flashbacks of being on the stage, under hypnosis However, I need to find out about this postal reading because I am really searching for answers and clues to stuff right now. Perhaps I was someone awful- who knows. What really matters is who I am now. IP: Logged |

I'm in the same boat, I must have been someone realy awful to deserve the life I have now, I guess it could be worse but at my level I think I have paid enough, but if not at least I would like to know.IP: Logged |

But don't we learn things of great spiritual importance when we go through difficult times? I know I have- I have those times to be thankful for, in a sense. Linda wrote about that saying, in Gooberz...... the darkest hour is before the dawn. IP: Logged |

Because you mentioned that life has been tough for you for the past 7 years....that made me think of the concept of 'sade sati' used in Vedic astrology. Literal translation of 'sade sati' is 7.5 years. It refers to the period when Saturn is transiting the natal moon sign, the sign just before it and the sign just after. This is supposed to be a very difficult period in one's life. So, if your moon is in cancer, i guess your 'sade sati' just got over with saturn moving out of leo.IP: Logged |

oh, I see. Yes all this goes over my head. I really try to understand and I am VERY smart, but for some reason this astrology concept is not quiet clicking with me.Than again I am throwing so much information to my poor brain that no wonder sometimes it fails me LOLI wish I had someone one on one sitting next to me and explaining how things work with planets using charts, I learn by sight. I'll do a bit of understanding to what you just said though, I'll take a look at my chart and see where saturn is...I guess I only know right now saturn is on my 6th house Gemini on my natal chart. My moon is on my 7th house cancer. I also know saturn just moved out of leo but this makes no sense to me as how to compare my natal chart to what is happening now. Thanks for the reply though...another homework for me IP: Logged |

Would you be OK giving your birth stats?? ILWL and I and many others can help you make sense of the transits If you don't want to post them, you can email me, but a lot of us are visual learners just like you Zala PS: My email is a hyperlink at the FFA forum topics header page, or you can find it in my Profile. NAM, i am sorry for the information overload Yes, astrology can be quite confusing. You are not alone in this. I have been at it for almost 10 years now. plus i suppose you have a lot less free time being the mother of two kids. This concept of 'sade sati' is more prevalent in Indian astrology. The essence is that is a hard time in one's life, and lasts for 7.5 years. The good news for you here is that it is over. So, hopefully things will start to look up soon. Take heart.ILWL IP: Logged |

ILWL~ yes, it is very challenging to play mom,dad and take care of a house plus also try to earn something new and read. Some days I wake up exhausted, specially right now that the economy on my line of work is so messed up.I am so drained. But thanks for the information, let's hope the 7.5 year theory works for me Now you have me counting exactly when will that be LOLZala~ thanks for helping, when I have time I will start a new thred for this topic and maybe you can help me out understand how the "today" transits affect the natal chart of a person. I do read as much as I can in hopes that soon things are going to start falling into place. IP: Logged |
