Topic: Please explain the meaning of Synchronicity

I was was wondering if anyone can explain the meaning of synchronicity in your life. What does it really mean? What does it mean when you have synchronicity continually with another person? Or does it not mean anything at all?IP: Logged |

I think it means something, definitely.I think its like the Universe, or God,
is dropping hints, kind of like saying,
"You are getting warm... warmer... girl, you are on fire!" I would definitely pay attention to instances of synchronicity,
and try to interpret their individual significance, as well.
That's usually fairly obvious, though.

I agree with what is said....Synchronicities have been happening in my life one after another with increased speed... I have thought of them as if being in the flow... And they do not always come from positive experiences as well...one really has to look at the particular situation. I, too, have had them with one person and it really blew me away. In my case I discovered that the individual that was involved was not to be in my life, and the only way I could have found that out is to have spent time with him and that is just what I did. After spending a bit of a miserable 6 hrs with him one day, I knew this individual was not to be in my life and the synchronicities with him stopped--- (HSC re-member I aksed you about this one) Synchonicities are cool, but don't read too much in to them...just be blessed you are in the flow!!! This just happened last night.........I randomly ran across a quote from a famous poet and liked the quote and sent it to him. It was about instant love and attraction. Right after sending it to him I told him I called him and was telling him that I was interested in taking belly dancing classes. We were also talking about where we were going to plan on going for dinner for our upcoming first anniversary of knowing each other. As we were talking, he googled the poet that I sent him because he liked his quote. When he googled him, a restaurant came up near the city where we live that was actually called the name of of the poet I just emailed. On top of that, they have live belly dancers:O This sort of thing happens ALL the time and I have tried to forget about it because it is starting to freak me out and it happens at least once a week for a year now. Another example that stands out was when i watched a movie at his house and there was a certain actress that i especially liked in it. I pointed this out and said i would like to follow her to see what other movies she might be in because she was that good. Anyway the next morning we go to the book store and a book caught my eye on photography since my boyfriend is into photography. It had portrait photos of famous rulers throughout the world and the ONLY PHOTO that was not a king or queen or ruler of some sort was a portrait of this particular actress who I saw for the first time ever in a movie last night! We both stood there frozen. Out of thousands of books I pick that one off the shelf and there she is, TOTALLY OUT OF PLACE in this book. She is one of is favorite actresses by the way. IP: Logged |

An Acausal Connecting Principle
Jung's only extended work in the field of parapsychology aims, on
the one hand, to incorporate the findings of "extrasensory
perception" (ESP) research into a general scientific point of view

If you are interested in synchronicity look for book by Deepak Chopra - Synchrodestiny.

Have you read The Celestine Prophecy, Sinderlou? (Great name!).------------------
It would be nice to evolve some sort of telethapy of the heart; empathy. A feeling, knowing inside how we are all interconnected. Empathy/ love would be a a law unto itself. I have been wondering- perhaps we are only 'Free' or have 'Free Will' in as much as we are spiritually awakened. We are like Gods in amnesia. This amnesia is the source of our soul-sickness. Another great book to read is "When God Winks" & "When God Winks On Love", both by SQire Rushnell.In my experience,the more you pay attention and notice synchronicities in your life,the more often they begin to appear.------------------

Sinderlou - yes, to answer your question. Although, I've yet to decide if practicing the exercises make it happen or just make you aware that it was happening all the time, and I just never noticed - ?
For instance I was desperatley looking for a job recently, I went shopping with my daughter and noticed a building that has been there for years but I never paid it any attention before, this time I noted the name of the company but thought no more about it, the very next day the agency phoned me and sent me to work there, I hated it but went in for the second day then phoned the agency and said I really need work but I can't stay there, they phoned me back an hour later with a new job and when I got there I found that it was in the same building as my first job in UK 7 yrs ago and it's great, convenient and the pay and hours I needed exactly. (Also the fact that I'm leaving UK soon, it's kind of like I've come full circle going back to the beginning place)
Would I have noticed these things a year ago, maybe but I just would've gone 'well that's weird' and not given it any more weight. With Synchronicity in mind, I go 'wow, thanks universe'!  IP: Logged |

thats awesome cats! I feel like synchronicity is only starting to happen since i met a particular person (a year ago from today actually ) and it began with him and has continued with all kinds of circumstances and people in this past year. Other people are even noticing it around me. Things that i say i want to do and have always had an interest in are happening too. All in this past year. Everything is moving at warp speed all of a sudden and before it felt like my life was slow as molasses. I just want to understand it and not be freaked out by it. I figure this has something to do with synchronicity, or at least it works on the same principles (the closer to the quantum level you get the more they act like many paranormal manifestations that don't seem to be operating fully on this reality):
