I saw a movie today in a multiplex and saw this woman on the laptop of the actor solving a psychiatric case. The page was wiki. But the details are here: I am not crying and I am not angry either reading her story. If the story is real, then like the story of Job in the bible, only God can say the right things to her. Does time really heal things? warning: please be above 18: http://www.astraeasweb.net/plural/spiegel.html IP: Logged |

I remember the movie, Sally Field played Sybil and Joanne Woodward was the Dr. Very disturbing, I cried my eyes out.My personal opinion is that time allows you to deal with it but heal? I honestly don't know, maybe with a lot of patience and love. I hope so, yes it is a true story IP: Logged |

Thanks Lalalinda. I seem to be having a recent fascination of nature of human pscyhe. If its a true story it helps me in my own analysis of subjects. Not that I have any. I sit and talk to an empty chair visualizing as if a subject is there. IP: Logged |

Thank you Mannu It's been years since I've seen the movie and I'm sure I can't watch it again but I am so glad for the one time I did see it. Even now I choke up seeing her face, knowing what she went through. here are a few links one with her artwork. http://www.sybil.biz/collection.php https://www.sybil.biz/store/ <A HREF="http://www.answers.com/topic/shirley-ardell-mason" IP: Logged |
