Can somebody who has read these books give me a basic idea about what they teach the meaning of life is? I have to be careful with my money, so I can't keep ordering books from Amazon, etc.

Yes they are a good read. Begin with the first one and see what you think.

"Can somebody who has read these books give me a basic idea about what they teach the meaning of life is?"

Yes, but I'll do this best... by having you actually hear selections from the books!

When Neale Donald Walsch was at a low point in his life, he decided to write a letter to God asking why his life was in such disarray. To his surprise, his hand started writing down answers, but the thoughts were not his - they were God's.
Walsch felt compelled to share these conversations with the world.

Click the links below to hear a excerpt reading from each section;

Conversations With God: Book 1, Volume 1 by Neale Donald Walsch
In these selections from his first book, gathered together and entitled The Language of the Soul, the author asks how God talks to people and about the nature of spiritual truth.

Conversations with God: Book 1, Volume 2
These selections from his first book are entitled Life's Great Questions, and in them God addresses the nature of suffering and the morality of prosperity

Conversations with God: Book 1, Volume 3
These selections - under the heading Mastering Everyday Life - from his first book address values, earning a living, staying healthy, and the question, how long should we live?

Conversations with God: Book 2, Volume 1
In his second book of dialogues with God, Neale Donald Walsch asks questions of political and global concern. This first volume of selections - under the headings Creating Your Future in the Eternal Now and Sane Sex, Sacred Sex - address the necessity of living in the present, redefine "good" and "evil," and rethink human sexuality.

Conversations with God: Book 2, Volume 2
Neale Donald Walsch continues his conversations with God. The Teaching Children Wisdom selections from his second book talk about educating our children and the best way to help a child learn, while in The New Spiritual Politics God reveals what's wrong with America today and how society's problems can be resolved.

Conversations with God: Book 2, Volume 3
Have you ever wondered if heaven could be created on Earth? Neale Donald Walsch asked God, and He answered, yes. These selections - Building the New Society and Creating Global Loving Consciousness - from Walsch's second book of conversations with God explore the possibility of a social, sexual, political, and economic revolution, a recreation of all people and society in God's image.

Conversations with God: Book 3, Volume 1
Continuing the interior dialogues which have become international best sellers, Neale Donald Walsch asks God, what is the relationship between body, mind, and soul? does the body "contain" the soul? do we choose our own deaths? and other questions that we have all asked ourselves. God's answers - wise, witty, and often stunningly. The nature of psychic power and the truth or falsehood of prophecies of doom are among the subjects in this book.

Conversations with God: Book 3, Volume 2
He resumes his dialogue with God in this fascinating exploration of life, the universe, and our relationship with God. In this volume, Walsh asks God some of life's deepest questions about love and relationships, reincarnation, morality, the soul, and more. God's often unexpected - but always wise - answers are heard.

Conversations with God: Book 3, Volume 3 Abortion, who were are and who we choose to be.. God addresses questions about life in the universe and the ultimate spiritual evolution of mankind.

I hope this gives you a better understanding of what all the Hupla' is about with these books? You should also now, be pretty clear of whether or not this investment is for you.

Thanks for posting all that!

Ladies....
Don't you all have free lending libraries near by?
I usually borrow before buying.
Often you can call ahead and they will have the books you want ready for you to pick up. Some places even have drive through pick these days.
And lots of places will let you renew by phone or online or even go to the library web page and pre order books you want to borrow.

Fayte, yes there are some around me and to tell you the truth I borrowed a ton of books from there two years ago when I was going through changes and decided to enroll myself in my own newly created college of life.

But , sometimes I like to go back to books and read again some chapters, or I just like to see them there sitting in my shelves, if I had all the money in the world I would probably have a collection of old books, that has always called my name, old books and wine, I love to have a basement with old bottes of wine LOL

I have thousands of books and cannot easily find what I am looking for amidst the stacks and piles! Like last nite could not find a certain Tarot book! Arrrgh!
I need my own personal library room!
