I think that an understanding of the quantum world will help a person to be enlightened. It is not necessary though. There are those who love and those who doubt. These courses are for the doubting Toms.

People would like to change their careers at times. Its not required. You can sit thru these courses as if you are there LOL

A sample course below:

quote:

FREE FOR ALL

The following sites are launching pads for finding "open courseware," which makes college course materials such as videotaped lectures, outlines and quizzes widely accessible.

http://www.ocwconsortium.org
This site for the OpenCourseWare Consortium has links to more than 150 institutions that offer open courseware.

http://www.oercommons.org
This Open Educational Resources (OER) Commons site aims to connect educators with open courseware in their subject areas.

http://www.uocwa.org
This publicly financed site for the Utah OpenCourseWare Alliance links to seven Utah institutions and all their free offerings

This is the best news I have heard in recent times. Education going open. Learn about Physics and Psychology from the MITs and Yales (and much much more)

thirteen,

I am glad you are getting a kick out of it

NAM,

Yeah sure , even for doubting Nelly's?
I admit I have never heard that phrase before. Doubting Toms comes from christianity. Thomas asked Jesus to show his hands after the cruficifixation.
Whats doubting Nelly?

Listens, yes that movie talks about it. One needs to understand and appreciate the basics before watching that movie. They can't explain every thing in 1 hour can they? Created man must understand his place in this universe and where he is going. It just makes his journey trouble free LOL

Cheers,
Dean.
