If we are creators or Co-creators then by doing all these "studies" to try to figure out truth then there is the posibility that we could be creating theories that do not really exists, just because we are thinking and beleiving on them.

What do you think??????????

For example, we know the mind is very powerful and we have great imaginations, so if let's say (again as an example) a prophet/visionary/psychic comes up with the idea that we can reincarnate and by collective power we all beleive in it can we actually create that as a new truth but at the same time as a part of our past?

If this was correct then over time we could create odd scenarios that would become truth, but if we all stop thinking and we would come to a complete stop what would this universe reduce to?

Sorry, I am bored at work and I start drifting deep in thoughts

You know, I think boredom is probably where a lot of this stuff comes from For example, the Osiris/Isis story is very similar to Mary and Joseph, but maybe God likes to repeat stories. I think that each culture takes what it wants from others, ditch the rest, and makes there own conglomerated story (I'm leaving the "hi" out for equalist reasons).

Interesting thoughts,
Dean.

there is nothing but mystery in the world,
how it hides behind the fabric of our poor,
browbeat days, shining brightly, and we don't even know it.

Personally, I see time and space and everything as this huge illusion that I have created for my amusement.

For example, today I am who I am. Yesterday or a moment before I could have been something/someone else. But, because I have created the illusion of having memories, it seems more real, more believable to me that I must have lived this life.

I don't know if that makes sense, but what I mean is, memory, yesterday, past, future, are all our imaginings (in essence). They are images in our minds when you think of it.

Can you really prove anything happened? Some may say "yes" because they have "witnesses" but what if even those "witnesses" are just part of the drama that you have created together?

I am still uncertain whether I am awake or asleep because it's all the same. In one world I am limited to certain things, in the other I am governed by different "laws".

Have you ever dreamed of a person that you have never met "in real life" but in the dream they were very close to you emotionally? Question is, if in your "dreams" you can duplicate or fake having a history with a person who you don't really have a history with, what makes it impossible in the waking hours?

This system in which we exist is so sophisticated and similarly pointless that you have to be humbled by it's "perfection" and style. Existence is glorious, because it's yours.

Actually NAM, I dunno if I added value by sharing these thoughts... :-)

I don't now about value, it depends how you see it but I do think yours and Dean's thoughts are great and give people new perspectives.

Another one here:
Yesterday I was thinking about how some beleive your other half is your soul split in 2 and you are suppose to find him/her to reunite, so if your soul can divide itself in two bodies then why can it not divide itself into more, and let's say be triplets to maybe pay more "bad karma" by creating 3 different individuals with different traits...(if you beleive in karma of course)

I mean this could be as complicated as the infinite.
my mind is going in circles now LOL

oh my, I am in chapter 7 of Conversations with God now, Book II; and I have found some paragraphs I want to quote and bring over here that have to do with what we were just talking about

I always get amazed at how I always get answers to what i am looking first by that little voice in my head, or feeling or intuition, or whatever you want to call it and then I find some book that touches on the subject and gives me almost the same answer I thought of already but sometimes with more depth to it or sometimes just put prettier or more eloquently.

Yeah, you know, I think that happens more when you read "spiritual" books. I'm not impressed by the books I'm reading, and keep wondering why I continue, but it's just because I like epics sometimes, but they sure waste a lot of time. Love CWG!

I agree with you - I don't believe anymore in twin selves, etc, we are all one soul with multiple physical manifestations. The relationships we have could carry over from life to life, but we could be very close to many different physical bodies, that somehow carry over into other bodies with the same soular puppet master, etc. In short, the memory we have regarding others could be due to our soul - not the bodies, but we could have multiple memories, and our energy in motion (emotion) could also change whereby what we once felt no longer exists, and we are forced to move on, so hence, there really is no twin selves. I think it's a romantic notion created to make people feel special that there is only one person for them, and no other. What if they die? I understand doves have this philisophy and won't meet other doves, but dolphins, on the other hand, are not monogomous.

Cheers,
Dean.

Yes, but it still makes me sad, it is almost like there is no point to all of these life.
Funny, God created us so he can have a companion but we can not have a companion because we are suppose to be looking for God, anyone else is just "for the moment".
Nothing but a transitional stage.
Kind of sucks.
