If you want them to be, perhaps.

A dream is a wish your heart makes
When you're fast asleep
In dreams you lose your heartaches
Whatever you wish for, you keep
Have faith in your dreams and someday
Your rainbow will come smiling thru
No matter how your heart is grieving
If you keep on believing
the dream that you wish will come true

~ disney's 'Cinderella'

If God is a source of infinite potentiality...

Then anything is possible, if only you can dream it.

you learn

Ooh, ooh, ooh...

I, recommend getting your heart trampled on to anyone, yeah
I, recommend walking around naked in your living room, yeah

Swallow it down (what a jagged little pill)
It feels so good (swimming in your stomach)
Wait until the dust settles

You live you learn, you love you learn
You cry you learn, you lose you learn
You bleed you learn, you scream you learn

I, recommend biting off more than you can chew to anyone
I certainly do
I, recommend sticking your foot in your mouth at any time
Feel free

Throw it down (the caution blocks you from the wind)
Hold it up (to the rays)
You wait and see when the smoke clears
(repeat 1)

I, I, oh, oh

Wear it out (the way a three-year-old would do)
Melt it down (you're gonna have to eventually, anyway)
The fire trucks are coming up around the bend
(rpt 1)

You grieve you learn, you choke you learn
You laugh you learn, you choose you learn
You pray you learn, you ask you learn
You live you learn

Through deep suffering, we learn deeper compassion....

Maybe its the only way for us to learn, to really understand?

quote:

= Different people
Dedicated to feeding
different types
of hunger

Together each knowflake- we'll fix this giant puzzle somehow....we will re-harmonize the melody of the creation, and transform the world to music, to harmony, once more!

This is what I always hoped you would see in relation to your mission ( [focus] ) toward the animals and the fact that others might understand the same pain but focus on different issues according to what their personality, talents, lessons lead them to heal. (Troubled teens for me) It doesn't mean that these issues (the animals) are less troubling for others or that we don't care. We just have to keep our focus on our mission and wait for YOU to find answers that will work in our lives. Throwing the animals' pain, your pain and anger over the atrocity, (and our guilty hearts at not having enough super powers to change the entire world and become perfect TODAY) into our face every day does not make a difference. If it did, the organizations would have made a bigger difference by now.

I'm counting on YOU to delve into this issue, study the reasons the unacceptable methods are used, and do something worthwhile (like creating a book with shopping lists and cheap and quick recipes and ideas so people can slowly and EFFECTIVELY switch to a vegan lifestyle for themselves, their children and their families WITHOUT dedicating their lives to that ONE cause). That is your mission.

It will take hard work and education and dedication to make a difference. Not just crying about it. (I mean that in a "this is what I have went through and learned so I am telling you this with love as I would tell a little sister or my daughter" way, not a "being mean" way) And if you let everything turn you into a big pile of quivering, crying jelly you won't be able to take any action. And if you you let your negative feelings pour out constantly, you are just adding to the negative feelings of others which seems to cause problems and more negative feelings.

I hope I said all of that right.

I almost clapped when I read what I quoted from you above.

I know you wrote your words with love, MM.

However, I'm not sure what my "mission" is in life.
I'm not sure that my "mission" in life is primarily to do with the animals....

I'm not even vegan at the moment because I found it difficult since cutting down on soya (I'm slightly intolerant to it) and having no-one else to cook for in my family who is vegetarian (except my youngest, who isn't fussy).....

I am very relaxed about things in that way.

I don't read most of the bulletins I receive from my animal rights activist friend on myspace, as I think if I posted as many bulletins as she did, people would be less likely to read them.

I stay away from too much negative information nowadays.

I feel my role in life has more to do with spirituality than aggressive activism, which I left behind when I was 21, feeling it wasn't quite right in some ways, according to my intuition, which was helped by having read "Star Signs" in the past. The people I knew were too verbally violent, even though I totally emphasize with their passion (in the face of such evil acts of manunkind).....I just feel, with deep understanding, there must be a better way...somehow.

I think once the corruption of the whole system comes down more and more (the Illuminati, the Pharmaceutical companies, etc), the changes we desire so much will follow.

I am not angry at the world, but I do find life confusing at times, and sometimes the soul must take time to replenish itself, then it may carry on.

The trouble is, I need to learn more patience in finding the answers. It has not been my greatest strength. Good things come to those who wait. (Sigh) lol

*I have been thinking lately about vegetarianism, and I feel it must be the choice of the individual- the world as a whole is not ready, and also we are still living in a dimension that is structured with mortality and a "food chain".....However, individuals should do what they feel is right for them, and may gently inspire others.
The things which bother me the most is the actual treatment of these sentient beings in factory farms and worst of all, laboratories. The way animals are transported and slaughtered should also be looked into. Anyway.....I'm rambling.

ListenstoTrees ~ i have found so much good and compassion in your posts here about animals.

they have given me new and kinder perspectives, and also the knowing that others out there have a deep conscience for these things too.

you post with gentleness and humility, and i have gleaned these things from your words.

your presence and words here have great consequences...their energy radiates towards life, and helps raise the frequency that much more.

you are wise and caring, and it does have a great impact.

thank you, wise one.

I couldn't agree more. I'm glad we understand each other now.
