I was listening to this radio interview earlier, in which someone mentioned that the Dalai Lama is in favour of microchipping.A few times I have read that some age gurus could be working with the powers that be. It's always important to use our own discretion and intuition in these matters. I have just been thinking..... Is it possible that some of these gurus are actually trying to dumb us down, by persuading us not to look ahead so much, to just accept things as they are, and not to try and change things?
Are they trying to brainwash us into a sense of complacency....acceptance....and apathy? I personally feel....for example....that anger in itself is not negative. It all depends on the way we channel it. Without anger there would be no fuel for motivation. Anger as an energy is not in itself negative...but is the very fuel which inspires us to get off our rears and do something to stand up for what we believe in. IP: Logged |

LTT I personally have grown to hate religion so much because I resent the fact that it is based on a higher being. In my world there is no one higher than me on this Earth and anything outside of the Earth is alien to me, as in I don't conceive of it or understand it. UNless I conceive of something myself or believe it according to my own conclusions it is not to be taken seriously. Therefore the Dali Lama nor others do NOT effect me because they have yet to contribute something non- pretentious like 'we are all the same under God's eyes' or alien's eyes. So yes I agree with you I do think there are many ways the force that be tries to control us, esp through all the 8th house and 2nd house attributes of money, power, sexuality, food, security, land, intimacy and privacy and religion.I agree also that anger is of itself a motivating force from which we can react, it's how we react that determines whether it becomes a constructive or destructive force. Love your posts LTT

Aww, thanks Quinnie. quote: esp through all the 8th house attributes of money, sexuality, intimacy and privacy and religion.
Interesting. Just going off on a bit of a tangent here...have you heard about the "13th zodiac sign"? (The sign of the dragon). Perhaps there ought to be 13 houses in astrological charts? Apparently this zodiac sign was hidden away for whatever reason...we can only guess. IP: Logged |

No I haven't but it could represent the essence of all the signs together. Then again I would not at all be surprised if we were mislead yet again!IP: Logged |

Hi Lex there is somehting about the number 13!. Like Jesus had 12 disiples so including himself as a disiple that number becomes 13! Link somewhere?I can't help but feel there is a connection to the 13th sign and satanism or druidism or a more ancient astrology wisdom IP: Logged |

A number is just a number. Meaning is added by people. Diverse meanings from time to time, culture to culture. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triskaidekaphobia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/13_(number) http://www.thevesselofgod.com/thirteen.html http://www.virtuescience.com/13.html ------------------ It is not about waiting for storms to pass...it is about learning to dance in the rain! __________________________________________________________________________ IP: Logged |

Lexi how can you say a number is just a number when you do lexigrams! A word is just a word? Are numbers not also symbols? What about numerology?Maybe I need to take a chill pill. Currently the venus/mars/mercury conjunction is right on my ascendant. (according to the tropical zodiac)

Interesting. If the signs were rearranged to include Ophiuchus, it would make me a Taurus and Linda Goodman a Pisces....Somehow it doesn't seem to fit as people I know do seem to appear as their supposed Sun sign....or perhaps due to time, the signs would have moved a little anyway? http://www.geocities.com/astrologyconstellations/index.htm IP: Logged |

Here is a number 5 typed out. 5 five lllll It is a symbol, a glyph, a representation to which any meaning can be applied by anyone. Same for words. The word.."word" just sits here as the letters w-o-r-d until "activated" and imbued with meaning. That particular pattern even changes as other languages are applied. For example: palavra=word, yet the glyphs/characters are different. I hope that makes sense.------------------ It is not about waiting for storms to pass...it is about learning to dance in the rain! __________________________________________________________________________ IP: Logged |
