Had difficulty with Part 30- (the checkered floor and the goods) as it had no sound, but found another link which although the picture stopped part way through, did have sound, so I played them both together and managed to get the sound and picture.

The Arrivals is a truly fascinating series, and hopefully will open minds more; it certainly has got me thinking about things a lot. I would even be humble enough to accept something as being the truth that I hadn't considered before, if I really felt in my heart that it was. However, through many years of searching, searching deep within, I have learned how to listen to my heart more clearly without being blinded by exterior programming. I am learning discernment, whereas in my childhood I was very influenced by what others taught me.What I believe in is infinite love and endless compassion. I believe that any being can chose to turn back towards "the light" (to use a narrow metaphor); to redeem themselves, etc, once they have been able to see things clearly, and see past the illusion. I believe that love is the only way. Sadly, according to something I've just looked up, these beliefs of mine are not compatible with Islam:

I also wrote some thoughts down a few days ago about "non-duality" that I might post some time.
Anyway....I have so many questions and so many more answers to find.  How did religion really all begin.....were the people who started them deluded.....or were extra dimensional or extra-terrestrial beings responsible for influencing these prophets? If so, did they have good intentions or bad, or were the intentions neutral? Who knows?   The mind boggles.......  IP: Logged |

I watched the dark knight for the first time and OMG... i couldn't 'really' watch it, but I noticed the checkered floor a few times early on.
Terminator was on last night and saw the checkered floor in the mental ward and also one hanging on the wall with a checkered floor floating with a spherical shape in the middle in a few scenes!IP: Logged |

I asked the film maker about the link I gave earlier here about Islaam, and he said all that was written on it was "either false and manipulated, or taken out of context". He advised me to look into the authentic message and sites of Islaam, such as thisistruth.org
"I also recommend u watch my 5 part series, cartoon Mohammad vs the real Mohammad, it will help a lot". I haven't got round to it, but it is worth bearing in mind, I think it's only fair if we are aiming for the balanced picture.

The Arrivals: my conclusionInteresting ideas, but I still need more convincing if it does indeed speak of the truth and whether this religion is not just another delusion of this world of illusions. Moses (mentioned in part 50) doesn't impress me, nor does Jesus, who's story was manipulated to synchronize with other ancient stories by the powers that be (someone may have lived around that time who's teachings were hijacked though....he may have studied the teachings of Buddha, who I personally feel is a lot closer to the truth).

I'm not too put off by the religious slant on it. While I don't buy all of it, at least not totally, I think there is a lot of truth to this documentary.While browsing another site, I came across the link and remembered you posted the links, LTT. So I thought I'd bring it up to the top again. I think it is definitely worth the watch. I'm only on #33 now, but like SunChild did, i'm having a marathon over here. Unfortunately, their main site keeps getting seriously hacked and only a couple of the videos were playing there. Luckily most of the youtube videos are still availiable though many without sound, because of youtube censoring. I'm still watching those anyway though. And I'm a little bugged out now because my kitchen & bathroom floor is black and white checkered. agghh going to continue watching now....
