Quinnie, a disconcertingly great number of people in this country have been brainwashed, and I fear it may be too late. We'll see. IP: Logged |

Quinnie, if you're able to tell me how I might "re-elect a worthy president", I'm all for it. Unfortunately, that particular deck is long since stacked.Ra, please spend more time in GU. Your input is sorely needed. IP: Logged |

Start with a government, made up of elected representatives of teachers etc, who actually listen to teachers, scientists, psychologists, lawyers, mothers to define or redefine the laws, a mass ongoing questionaire via email, where people can contribute ideas. The school system changed. Social issues need to be tackled at the core, but through a system whereby people who work with the issues have the power to influence or change the laws regarding them if it be needed. Perhaps no president at all would be better.Tink I have no answers just ideas that are only niaeve because of relative perspective.

Working to change things at a local level isn't naive, Quinnie. Not at all. Unfortunately, a diabolical union of Left and Right has both slowly eroded state's rights and strengthened Federal power. Local school boards (a fantastic place to start btw way as long as you're willing to wait for long term results) answer to too many federal regulations - regulations put in place for "the common good" by federal government busybodies and pencil pushers "who know best". What we have here is an infernal combo of fascism and socialism. Allow me to show off my best Dorothy Parker impression - "What fresh hell is this?" So, in an attempt to re-elect that "worthy president", we have a choice between a Socialist and yet another Neo-con. Frankly, Quinnie, we're f*cked. IP: Logged |

The illuminati and world bankers have worked very hard for the "results" of Nov 4 2008. Brainwashing is an unfortunate reality in all countries. Hopefully, some galactic events upto 2012 would cause a massive transformation. There is something brewing in the Kuiper's Belt. I found some interesting (Speculative) material here: http://www.hyperspacecafe.com/forum16/3041.html ------------------ http://www.tamsoft.co.in/articles.html IP: Logged |
