Can someone explain soulmates to me? I dont know if I really understand the idea of it. Why are their soulmates? because we might have had past lives with them? What were they before that(before the past lives together)? Is there really just 1? why that one? I think the idea of soulmates is beautiful, but at the same time it sort of boggles my mind, and doesnt make sense. I want it to make sense. IP: Logged |

There are some interesting threads in "Soul Unions" here on this topic. By the way, there is another person with the same user name.....is this you or are you two different people?IP: Logged |

Write... think of All that exists as one big marble with swirls of color. Now smash it with a hammer. (Yeah, feels good, doesn't it? lol) Ok, the pieces that used to be connected nearest to each other... say in the same red swirl... are soul mates. Familiar and of similar energy make-up though still varied. A bunch of different pieces will fit to you from different directions. Some are easy to find and lying right next to you... but some shot way off from the power of the hammer blow and will take some time to find. Now take that kindergarten metaphor and apply it to the various detailed philosophies you discover on the subject. Here's one of the links from Soul Unions that LTT is talking about: http://www.crystalinks.com/soultravel.html

ohhhh soulmates!well, i happen to think we're all soulmates AND that there is one True Soulmate out there for everybody. a contradiction in a way, but not really. i used to think i "belonged" with my exes, in a soulmate way, and i did. they were in my life for a reason, as i was in theirs. my new fella, well, i feel a closer bond with him than i have with anyone. i can't know forsure if he is The One, but i do not feel any red flags whatsoever and we get eachother soooo well. i feel very strongly that he could be my True Soulmate. i think it's entirely possible and probable that our Souls have a masculine and feminine component, that has manifest as two beings on Earth, that belong together, and only for eachother (in the case of homosexuality, obviously, "gender assignments" aren't so straightforward, but of course they have Soulmates too). ghani heartcakes, yes, I believe the first split was "masculine/feminine" yin/yang active/receptive whatever elemental basic energies and the splits and archetypical energies were formed from there... I think that link is the one that explains that theory nicely enough that I never have to type it out again... lol IP: Logged |

When you experience in third dimension your soul sparks splits in half, male and female. One half remains in higher frequency [As is Above] while one half spirals in third dimension [So is Below]. If you are female, your partner above is male and vice versa. So then homosexual can never find their soulmate?

Interesting, BR...I have always wanted to find my twin flame but somehow feel it isn't to be in this life, so perhaps this is why. Perhaps I watched over my twin flame in his earthly incarnation, which may explain some of the "fragments" in my mind when I've tried to search my subconscious for past life memories. There are lots of different ideas about this...some say you simply need to evolve to a certain level before you can meet your true other half....others say they may or may not be incarnated at the same time as you are. I don't know exactly why the twin flame idea has moved me so much since I was young, it may be that I caught a glimpse of someone I once knew in a dream, which reminded me of another time, another place....I have always felt different deep down too....this can create feelings of being separate but I now realize that people who feel this way are far from being alone. I feel that what we need to be focusing at this present time on Earth are ways in which we can help the Earth's consciousness and coming together with others to work as a team. Whether the twin flame concept is true or not, there is plenty of time to find out once we first deal with our planet's greatest priorities. ------------------ "Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance" ~Albert Einstein IP: Logged |

Hey BR, just making sure you saw that I did not say male/female, I said masculine/feminine, and since all of us have both energies within it isn't difficult for me to imagine a compliment... regardless of cultural or social gender roles that people choose for themselves or have others impose on them. Totally different conversation. If the link is crap, well, I wasn't sure if it was the cool one or not as I said, so I can't vouch for it.I'm sure it's a touchy subject you are tired of defending, but we're of a similar if not the same opinion I am sure.

My two cents, as of today, are that we are all the same soul. We are all mates (I'm an Ozzie 'ey?) The problem I have is that there are so many ways to be compatible with people - you and they have similar stars, yeah? So when the planets are configured in certain ways, then this is enhanced, opposed, or squared (awkward). So, depending on the time of day, week, month, year, decade, or century, you may meet a person that clicks "completely" with you. BUT, you are still your own person. The planets will change as they rotate, etc, but you, or the other may not, or you may change independently, so, someone who's a soul mate today, may only be a soul who's a mate tomorrow. One other thing, Linda hints at certain "soular" indications in "Relationship Signs". She also says that "soulmates" tend to meet when they are both vegitarian. And that once met, they will forever meet in every incarnation. However, what I said above still holds, that the world is not ready for you, etc, you may meet, but you may also destroy the relationship and move on, or curcumstances may make the relationship void. Just my two. Heaps of Love, Dean. ------------------ I realized it for the first time in my life: there is nothing but mystery in the world, how it hides behind the fabric of our poor, browbeat days, shining brightly, and we don't even know it.
