Isn't that supposed to be another "what if" kind of movie about 2012?Looks good :-) ------------------ "Secrets and lies can sleep from the walls of Rome if we sit hard enough on them. They are undeniably destined to come out. Tomorrow, the next day or a hundred years from now!" IP: Logged |

Saw it and I was blown away. I wanted to cry about the way that people were acting in the movie and it made me think that if this was to ever happen, real life would work out just like it did in the movie because people are so afraid of what they dont know. The military is so ignorant. And for the military to shoot first, that was just so typical and it made me so angry. They dont know what that entity was here for. That entity could have been so many things. They could have been here to change things for the better. But it was a good movie. When leaving the movies i didnt know what to say. just the big "mouth hanging open" expression. good movie for the most part.------------------ Yes i'm a capricorn with an aries moon and gemini rising. oh yea... great movie! the military and the political leaders in the movie are exactly as in real life and they make me very angry.... and that location in the movie MT. Weather is very real.. its basically a backup government set up underground/built in the mountain in case anything happens to the regular government.. its controlled by FEMA... its funny how they put the real thing in your face but most dont realize it because they have been dumbed down with movies... so the majority doesnt know whats fact or fiction and eventully everything becomes fiction to the generic public they tell each other "thats only in the movies"... Commander... My ex told me something similar and I thought it was just another one of his crazy made up stories lol. But what you said is exactly what he told me. He said there's a place in the mountains here in Utah where if you drive up there far enough, you reach some area with a guarded water shed where you will be told to turn around... now I don't know how true that is, but I'll have to dig up the email he sent me... Now I DO have to watch that movie lol..

It's interesting that what almost does them in is the lack of trust between mother and child... and what saves them is the loving bond between mother and child. So much of civilizations problems can be traced back to that early relationship. In one peaceful culture, the mothers carry the babies strapped to their chests constantly, for, i think, the first six months of the infant's life; they believe this is essential to establishing a truly healthy bond. I still haven't found the words to say to give my opinion on how I take the movie. I do think it was good but its so much to say about it yet I cant find the words to say. And I feel a certain way about the movie but I don't know exactly what is it that I feel about it. You know? It touched me in some way but i just don't know how. until then all I can say is its a good watch but I have no opinions to share.------------------ Yes i'm a capricorn with an aries moon and gemini rising. oh yea... I saw the movie and thought overall it was good not great, but I think it is correct that we humans are selfish parasites. We don't want to admit it or change. some of us will get very angry if someone points the truth at us and we say "Oh not me". I'm amazed at how even "spiritual" people will defend their flaws and then feel that because they are spiritual that they will bask in the afterlife that was "personally" promised to them. Frankly 99.999% of us are wasting air and resources and probably just die. But is love really the answer? Humans were spared because they showed love for one another. I know plenty of people-oriented people, but they are not environmentally conscious. I know some nasty people who care more about animals and the environment than people. Is environmental responsibility what we really need?IP: Logged |
