OK.....mine...had to think about one or two LOL!  I find it strange when a 12 cup coffee maker only holds 8 cups.... I find it strange when hotdogs come in packs of 10 but buns in packs of 8. I have an answer to the last one though...
I know lots of people have hotdogs at picnics.
They also have baked beans.
So 8 hotdogs to 8 buns, leaves two to slice up and put in the baked beans! IP: Logged |

I find it strange when I have an idea about making/inventing a new product that could be useful and all of the sudden few weeks later I see my idea everywhere I go to....

I find it strange when I don't find everything to be strange.I find it annoying when people try to pry. I find it strange whenever people think they have others and/or life figured out. I find it strange when people put so much effort in spirituality when all it needs is understanding and awareness every moment.Perhaps that is the practise required that the great Indian/eastern seers have talked about. And mind it, I am ****** by the fake ones.

its a bit like how a camera 'sees'. only, the eyes are designed to read the spectrum of colour (as defined by white light through a prism) through wavelengths i.e lower frequency red warm colour to higher frequency i.e purple to white light. the eye. the microcosmic universe IP: Logged |

Yeah the light falls on the rods and cons of the back of the head - but something must be perceiving it...the whole idea of spirituality is to come face to face with that perceiver. Takes 6 months to 1 year or even longer sometimes as long as millions of lives per the hindus reincarnation beliefs, to become aware of who is behind the eye. Then the door of kingdom of God is open unto you.

I find it strange that brunette, black and brown hair, blue or brown eyes, different racial skin pigmentation/tones, are all considered normal;
while red hair, green eyes, and freckles are considered to be mutations.I find it strange that less evolved lifeforms can regrow lost limbs but higher ones cannot. I find it strange that warm water seems to set up ice cubes faster than cold. I find it strange that mammals only get two sets of teeth but a shark keeps getting as many as needed. I find it strange that we are not at least somewhat amphibious being this planet has more water than land. I find it strange that unlike the lower animals, that humans cannot walk or crawl at birth. I find it strange that we need to sleep. I find it strange that the sun can harm us. I find it strange that oxygen can harm us too. I find it strange that we cannot drink sea water. I find it strange that humans are the only so called sapient life form on Earth. I find it strange that people in cold climates are not furry. I find it strange that hamburger has no ham in it. I find it strange when people ask:
"How are you?" or "How's it going?"...when they actually do not want or even expect a real and honest reply, and might even get upset if the replies stray from this kind of stock "conversation";

I find it strange that the 80's horror movie "Nightmare on Elm Street" has a hidden spiritual meaning behind it. That is 'Don't fall asleep' Be awake. If you fall asleep you would enter this world of life and death. Sleep researchers are also right when they say if human beings don't get sleep for seven days continuous they will go insane. Even a Jesus and Buddha needed sleep. Their sleep is of different kind which I would love to get in to some day.

I find it strange that everyone and everything in the universe is out there to destroy our earth and solar system. Why aren't the planets sucked up in to either the sun or Jupiters massive gravitation? Every one is influencing everyone as it orbits around the sun. Its a miracle that we are still alive talking and chatting with each other on planet earth. Newton although one of the most rational thinker of our times, got away saying it is God who prevents the collision and sustains life. In the 20th century a Russian scientist Kolmogorov tried explaining why planets don't crash in to each other in his 'chaos' theorem. They even made a hollywood movie out of it 'The butterfly effect' using one of his chaos theorems. The Americans may have reached the moon thru technology , but it is the russian whose literature and different way of thinking that i find intriguing. Especially because here was someone who tried to find order in chaos. The indians are not interested in the moon, they have gone there thru astral travels. I may be raving because like all Taoists I too find Chaos a mystery.
Well, sneaking out the room before the literal scorpio cats get in and ask me to stop stereotyping based on nationality
