Hey guys,
I thought this was a good article by Janet Swerdlow and wanted to share. It’s a lot of what is going on in my life right now, and I thought that if it helps me to understand, then maybe it would help someone else who is going through the same stuff. I guess awareness is half the battle.

Moving On

A direct result of your inner level work may at first glance appear to be chaos when instead you expected increased order and energy flow. This is because the first thing that happens when you really start to work is that you begin stirring up your own inner pot of "stuff." Your "stuff" can be mental, emotional, physical, and/or spiritual. Imagine what all this looks like inside of yourself; then imagine taking a giant spoon and stirring, stirring, stirring.

You stir everything up so that you can see what is there. "Stuff" that has been dormant at the bottom rises to the surface. Nothing is where it used to be. Everything is swirling and twirling so that you can start to look at your own pot of "stuff" whatever that may be. There is probably "stuff" rising to the surface that you have not seen for a long time, or perhaps never even consciously knew about.

Once you stir it up, the next step is to look at it. As you do this, you begin to realize that not all of it is necessary, so you start tossing it out. If you are really working, you not only toss it out, but give it up to your Oversoul and God-Mind for permanent release. Most people start with the easiest "stuff" to discard.

As you proactively begin to literally stir up your internal process, your outer world has no choice but to reflect this back to you. This is Universal Law. As your inner world swirls and twirls, your outer world must do the same. In the beginning, as you make relatively small internal changes, the outer world bends and changes a bit to reflect this back. You see this happening, and it encourages you to continue. After all, you do one thing and you have fairly immediate feedback, which in turn begins to perpetuate the cycle. With this encouragement, you make adjustments in the next layer of "stuff." Again the outer world bends and changes to reflect your changes.

But, the deeper you go, into the more difficult "stuff," the more the outer world has to bend and change to keep up the reflecting process. Eventually, the energy that you use to hold your inner and outer world together literally bends and changes so far that it snaps and breaks wide open. This energetic break means that your outer world completely changes.

At this point you may begin to wonder, "What have I done?!" Here you are, doing your work, thinking that you are making progress, and now everything in your world appears in chaos. You may become physically ill as toxic thoughts and substances leave your body. Relationships change, finances change, people change, living environments change, you name it—change, change, change everywhere you look.

Because of "lag time," the outer world works overtime to energetically rearrange itself to reflect your mental changes. It only appears as though everything is falling apart when conversely, the reverse is true. In reality, everything that you have worked so hard for is finally coming together.

As your inner world becomes more dynamic, anything that is stagnant in the outer world has to move out of it. Stagnation can no longer exist in your world. This is what most people do not stop to think about when they start their inner level work. The break up of stagnation, which you have been chipping away at, now finally gives, and the "give" can be painful—emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually.

People do not take into consideration that their world as they know it will forever change. You have chipped away at stagnation within your own inner process until it literally breaks. Now that you have broken through to the other side, and you are no longer in the status quo, you get scared. This is a normal reaction.

You no longer have your old foundation—in fact, it is in pieces. And, you do not have a new foundation—yet. You are working on recreating the energetics in a new way to form a new foundation upon which to stand. This transition period is not easy. The best that you can hope for is to "be comfortable in the midst of your discomfort."

Taking apart the old foundation usually involves many standard things, including letting others go to fulfill their destinies. They have a choice to match your change by chipping through their own stagnation so that you can move on together, or, move out of your life so that you can each travel your separate paths.

This separation process involves mental, emotional, and perhaps even spiritual "deaths," rather than physical death. "Death" merely signifies something leaving to be rebirthed elsewhere. The old "stuff" dies up into your Oversoul to allow new "stuff" to be born in its place. Take some time to grieve for the old as you release it. Know that as you pull your new energetic foundation together, your world will steadily and methodically begin to have an order that you can understand once again.

There will be many people in your life who will not be able to journey on with you. Just like when you geographically move, not everyone comes with you. Not everyone understands geographic moves, much less mental, emotional, and spiritual moves. Some people will try to hold onto you. You may try to hold onto them, or, try to make them fit into your new world.

This is unfair to everyone. Most likely, there are new and better relationships waiting to come into your life; new and better relationships waiting for others. You were a "space holder" in their life, so let them go so that others who better match them, and have been waiting, can now step forward. You have to let go so they can go to what is best for them.

When you carry others energetically, you learn. When you cut your strings, and others are on their own, they will learn. When they are truly responsible for themselves, it is their window of opportunity to learn. They may refuse this opportunity and find someone else to carry them energetically. But at this point, it is their choice, not yours. You let them go so they can choose.

When they look at you, expressing who and what you are, setting your boundaries, arriving on a new plateau, they may feel jealous, bitter, resentful, angry, frustrated that it is not they who are able to do these things. Have compassion for their struggle, but release them into it, for is the struggle that makes them strong, just as your struggle makes you strong. Remember the butterfly example—the butterfly must struggle its way out of its cocoon to strengthen its wings. Without the struggle, the butterfly dies.

Unconditionally love others in your life enough to allow them their struggle. Have compassion for whatever level they are on. You are the one with the tools. You are finally free of that level of walking. Give thanks and move on. Release yourself into your new level, and all will flow freely and smoothly once again.

Use the Oversoul level to teach and explain to others your process. This does not necessarily mean that they will easily let go. Why? Because on some level, it is you who holds on, not the other way around. You feel like you are floating around without an anchor. Without strings from you, they could not hang on. Find these strings so that you can release others to their betterment. Release your fear of the unknown, your guilt of letting go. Look to your new foundation that you are building. Hold the mind-pattern of your desired end result. How you will get there? One step at a time, on a path at this moment known only to your Oversoul. You will finally realize the completion of what you started so long ago when you first starting stirring your inner pot.
