It just occurred to me that I was subconsciously rocking, and that in fact I always am. Whether you sit with legs crossed and move your foot, or stand and sway with speech or when holding children. Have you realized how much harmony is in the world? Like buses that have a pattern within the engine. Colours that fade into other colours, sounds that resonate, etc. Even walking or talking patterns, etc. Just thought I'd share.

Heaps of Love,
Dean.

I realized it for the first time in my life:
there is nothing but mystery in the world,
how it hides behind the fabric of our poor,
browbeat days, shining brightly, and we don't even know it.

always! i am always rocking, swinging. moving.

first my mother - be still
then my kids - mom cant you be still

i still rock myself to sleep every single night.

don't know why, but it is just part of me.

i always wake up with a song in my head too. always. and sometimes i wonder, how do i hear this song in my head and think at the same time?

My mother and I do this when stressed. If we're having a conversation about stressful things, one of us will suddenly notice, smile, and point out that we're both rocking back and forth, or side to side.

(I just noticed that, whilst reading, I'm swaying from side to side. )

*edit. Oh, yes, and sounds! When I was a newborn, my aunt advised my mother to do housework after putting me down for a nap. She said that Mum would never get anything done otherwise. Unless I'm dealing with severe anxiety or insomnia, the sounds of the dishwasher, hair dryer, washing machine or dryer can all send me to dreamland. A little noise rarely bothers me, and can be soothing at times.
