Hi, Has anyone read T. Lobsang Rampa's "The Third Eye". I recently read the book and am looking forward for a brief discussion on some topics in the book.IP: Logged |

I read it back in the early 80's and thought it was great until I read somewhere that he was never a monk in Tibet and it was all just a false tale. Don't know if that's true but I remember feeling mighty disappointed.IP: Logged |

But I dont doubt his existance, for there are/were many such enlightened beings in Tibet and India, seldom are they accepted in the world where darkness is dominating. Anyway...After reading some of his other works, i dont feel there was any need for him to cook up tales... Have u read any of his other books? i just finished "Living with the Lama", where a Siamese cat dictates her experiences in life telepathically and he types it for her. Awesome indeed!IP: Logged |
