Hey Silverstone, do you like Quantum Mechanics? Perhaps I could add stuff to this thread about that two - can't think of where else it could go in LL, except it's own thread But I'm thinking, we can discuss this here to! I will check out your link when I get a chance, and in fact, haven't seen the content in the following links, but this one I've been meaning to for years, and stumbled into it recently:
http://bethe.cornell.edu/index.html

And this was recommended by a friend recently:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6151699791256390335

This one goes for four hours, and there is a second part - also four hours! I never have time to watch anything, but I'm gonna try through this thread! I would really love to discuss this stuff here, along with Hyperspace and relativity etc. if you wish. I've read a few books, and it's always been a passion, but finding the time these days is tricky.

Cheers,
Dean.

Hi, Sesame

Yes, please post anything you wish~
Quantum Mechanics is intriguing, indeed... so, yes, it will be interesting to discuss all on these subjects on this thread... that link you posted is contemplating. I like Stewart's information about color and the alignment of the chakras. Some of his theories really parallel to Linda's books, too, in this particular videos. I also found it interesting that he mentions the our colors we choose to wear are really our emotions for the day- He states that when you don't remember your dreams is because the message is for your conscious mind-- for the subconscious mind pattern

Moreover, he goes on to mention that depending on your depth of sleep, and that depending on how you go into other realities, most people go into the astral level, which is the borderline: the area between the physical and the hyperspace- the astral is the boundary, where there's a lot of physicality involved, and that beyond that is hyperspace, which is instant communication of pure energy.

What startled me the most on video # 17 is something I never really thought of, which is true... he said that Normally, a person sleeps 7-8 hours a night (normal range). If you extrapolate that into a life time, and in the United States an average life time is 75 years, a 3rd of your day that you are sleeping, extrapolate it to a life time means you are sleeping 25 years: A quarter of a century-- That's a long time to not know what's going on: A third of your life you don't know what's going on, which is a reminder that our dreams are extremely important, as the life that you live in your dream state, is just as valid as your waking state... we are a conscious entity in all of those realities!

Most human beings use less than 10% of their full brain capacity. If you were to open up even a small proportion of that untapped 90%, imagine all of the possibilities that would manifest. Such talents as ESP, telekinesis, levitation, and instant healing would become commonplace.

In the dream state, you can do all of this and more, because your consciousness and soul-personality rise above the accepted limitations of the physical world in which you live. When you sleep, there are two realms in which you can choose to enter. You can choose the astral levels of existence which border the physical world. In the astral levels, there exists many entities of unsavory character that can affect you. Or, you can surpass this lower realm and advance into the hyperspace levels of pure mind, instant thought and understanding, and where time and space have no meaning. It is from the hyperspace level that your greatest dreams reveal your true Self.

When you return from hyperspace dreams to your body, the conscious mind has no reference point for the symbols and images perceived during sleep, so the pineal gland creates pictograms over the hyperspace symbols. The pictograms are then strung together in a fashion that the conscious mind can understand. In this way, a dream story is created that you can remember.

Your dreams reveal information and instructions from the mind that oftentimes you are not able to accept or understand in the waking state. Therefore, it is very important for each of person to keep a dream journal that you keep updated so that after some time passes, you can see a larger picture of what is being revealed to you about your Self.

Interpreting your dreams to correctly understand their messages is imperative. Through this understanding, your life improves and you create better experiences for yourself. On the average, most people dream five times per night. Without dreaming, you would go insane because dreams act as a release valve for your mind-patterns and emotions so that you do not get overloaded or stuck in the multiple layers of filtering life.

Contrary to popular belief, you can only dream about yourself. The other characters in your dreams always represent the various aspects of your own personality and how they interact with one another. Even when you dream about a dear friend or loved one, you must attempt to understand what he/she represents to you personally. This is the only reason that these people appear to you in your dream state.

Each dream symbol can be a generic one common to the human race, or it can be something unique to an individual based upon your personal history and experiences, especially those from childhood.

For example, when you dream about oceans or large bodies of water, this always represents the “oceans of life” or your life perceptions. However, when you dream about a specific body of water, it has something to do with your specific mind-pattern and experience that this water reflects for you personally. Therefore, it helps to interpret dreams when you are familiar with the dreamer’s life, or can tap into the frequency of the person.

When you first wake up in the morning, staying in the same position for at least 90 seconds helps you can retain the dream memory. Once you start to move, you are out of the last position in which you had your dream, and the mind buries the memory. Staying in the waking position for a while helps keep the dream images in your mind so that you can write them down.

There are many different types of dreams—Oversoul dreams, daydreams, lucid, recurring, nightmares, sleep-walking, and prophetic dreams. There are even programming dreams that are based upon the original mind-pattern. I will address these in future articles.

It is said that life is but a dream. Conversely, dreams are but part of life. The two are part of the greater whole. Each reflects the other as physical reality mirrors the non-physical.

Dreamers are the most successful people in the world. The trick is in making the dream a reality. Keep on dreaming and always remember that your dreams are real.

Pleasant dreams! ~Stewart Swerdlow

Well, that is interesting about dreams. I had one recently that I believe was actually a nightmare. All was OK in the dream itself, the nightmare was when I woke up and realised what I dreamed about. I don't want that to become reality, and so went to group hug to get it off my chest and hopefully burn it. It has occurred before, and I hope not again. The thing you said where we are dreaming of ourselves does conflict with other thoughts - namely that people could project themselves into your dream.

There are two possibilities I will expound on - 1, that in the dream state you meet others and bring those convesations into reality through dreams, and 2, that the astral realm of no-time could in fact obtain impressions of both the past and future - while still retaining characters from this world in their astral planes, but could also have characters from the past and future in their astral planes. So, your dream can potentially reflect many possibilities of what others are, have, or will go through, as well as your own experiences. Like how images could just represent aspects of your own subconscious. So, I can see why we could easily have five dreams a night - to process all this, and yet, our small brain only takes one into the world to think about for that day. I do like the idea of a dream diary - it could be Astral Realms for example But I find it difficult to maintain a blog like that. In any case, there can be a lot to consider about dreams, and if you don't remember any in the morning, does that mean all is pretty much OK and on schedule? I honestly believe that de ja vus are a product of dreams. You may not remember them when you had them, but the de ja vu is the concious mind making that relationship with the unconcious. I used to believe that de ja vus were a way of show that you were on track, but I haven't had one in so long, that I think this is naive. I don't know why we have them - just another indication of how weird life is? Imagine having one every day!

In terms of Quantum Mechanics, I have'nt been able to see any of the vids yet, except the Hans Bethe ones, and I feel these did not meet my expectations. I think he summarised the history of the formulas of this, but didn't realy talk about the ramifications. One of my heroes is Richard Feynman. Anything he wrote and talked about is gold. Very interesting and inspiring - as I've heard about the other links I added - but they go for eight hours, and I just haven't had the time yet for them. Also, the vids you attached I will also view when I can. Sorry I didn't get back to you for a while, but I will when I can.

Cheers,
Dean.

Oh, and BTW, talking about sleep, I've started to consider becoming an early riser. Are you one? I've heard they can be very productive and energetic etc. I think you need less sleep too. But the best thing is that you have time to exercise and read etc. This is a good link for this. Also, have you heard of the Five Tibetan Rites? This was mentioned in LL before, and I've started doing this again. I feel there could be great power in this routine if you keep with it. I think discipline is so important to do things like this, and yet, in our society, discipline isn't really practiced too often, so I think being an early riser and starting the day with the rites would also be a great opportunity to understand Discipline, and learn from the Disciple within (was that Linda?)

Heaps of Love,
Dean.
