deer-

Gentleness and Innocence

Deer teaches us to use the power of gentleness
to touch the hearts and minds of
wounded beings who are in our lives.

Don't push towards change in others,
rather gently nudge them in right direction
with the love that comes from a Deer totem.

When a Deer totem shows up in your life,
a new innocence and freshness in about to be awakened.
There is going to be a gentle lure of new adventures.
There will be an opportunity to express the gentle love
that will open new doors for you.

The other evening, I was sitting on my computer in my living room, unable to sleep, as usual.
I knew my dog was on the floor beside me, but I saw something black coming towards me from my bedroom.
I looked down to make sure the dog didn't bi-locate or something, but nope he was there snoozing away.
I looked up again, and it was a black cat with the greenest of green eyes you could imagine.
Black cats come to me at very pivotal times in my life.
We looked at one another and he turned tail and ran out my back door. (I keep it cracked open to let my dog go in and out as he pleases)
It was one of those sublime moments of peace, yet knowing that there is something more to come.
