How should I control anger or frustration at work meetings? Anyone can read from my face and it comes out too from my words.

sVIRGO, why do you want to control your anger and frustration? If you are angry and rightly so,then let them see it and feel it. But only if you are right!

I am more vegetarian that means I eat non-veg once in a while(in a month or 6 months). My diet contains veggies, fruits and lentils.

Hi starkiss1,

I don't want to offend people by showing anger or frustration. I do feel that I lack here. I might be right most of the times but I may be wrong too, so I feel bad of being blunt. I want to give chance to everyone to speak even if they are wrong but I get angry when they start speaking lies or I don't like their ideas.

Thank you!

I was trying very hard to be nice to people all my life and i wish i wasn't. If they lie to my face, i tell them now that i know they are lying and i allow myself be angry with them. I guess if you don't like their ideas, it's different. Where is your mars (and dwad)?
This subject is interesting for me, cause i can really see red sometimes!

My Mars is in-
Mars Cancer 29°26'57 end of house 7 direct

I try hard too to be nice but they boil my blood by giving comments on the subjects neither they are working on nor they know the subject.

Try not to take things personal. Everybody has an opinion. They are talking from their own heads, and maybe they think they are helping??
What if you tried a little mind game of switching yourself to them for a minute. Try seeing things the way they see them? Maybe they add their opinions so they can feel helpful and useful.
I know it is frustrating but look at it as though you are the teacher and they are the student. You wouldn't want to teach people through anger would you? Teach them through patience and loving guidance.
Think back, was the shoe ever on the other foot and someone treated you nice, took you under their wing and taught you things? Wouldn't you rather be remembered for that then the 'mad guy/girl' (sorry forgot which you were)?

Thank you GypseeWind!
I liked what you wrote. Yes, I should stop taking things personally as everyone has right to speak. May be I should play a bigger role and teach them through patience and loving guidance.

I will try to remember your words during meetings.
