Hi everyone!I am wondering if one of you could help me figure something out. Not sure if this is the right forum to address this but: I've had an interesting reaction to a person who I work with. Indirectly, we work in the same place and we often run into one another. Without knowing where this person is at any given time, I have been able to feel his presence. Somehow, I seem to know when he is around. For instance, there could be a million people in a room, I could walk in and know he was there. Example: Walked into a room with various co-workers. Some were behind curtains helping consumers, and instinctively I know which one he working in. This happens 90% of the time. Specifically, there have been times when I've been busy working, and have looked up to see him looking directly at me. I am not sure if these are just coincidences. This person also seems to have a very strange insight into what I am feeling at a given time. For instance he'll know when I am feeling upset, happy, or even worried. It can be quite unsettling since I always pride myself on not showing my emotions! Any thoughts??

yes, i've had that strange feeling of feeling a person's presence. Both times it was someone I had a major crush on. When I was 24-27 and then a little later in life.I would feel their energy, then bump into them 30 seconds later. Or I would know when the phone rang it would be them. IP: Logged |

It's called "Proximity Awareness" and when you're attuned to someone at deeper energetic levels this sort of thing happens. I have this with someone as well. At times the affect is so strong that one may even feel violated.IP: Logged |

I have had the same experience myself. It is odd & exhilirating at the same time. What adds even more to it is the synchronicity with our thoughts. It is as if our minds are (forgive the lack of better terminology) melding. She would say something & I would think about saying before she said it. Or vice versa.------------------

Thanks so much for getting back to me..!It's nice to know that other people have had this experience and that I am not just being ridiculously sensitive. So, to be clear, it's their "energy" I am picking up on? Like, their (soul?) vibrations? Koiflower-

Yes, we are friends. I believe that there is an aspect of this connection that is frightening to her. At this point in her life, her awareness is very connected to a one-dimesional view. She has taken up Yoga, with knowing me and her sense of the world being questioned that perspective is growing. How far will it grow? Only she can answer that & that answer within her may change with time. ------------------

I have had this experience. I was nervous and frightened at first. I also at times felt a violation of my personal space thoughts, etc. I think it has to do with moon and neptune in synastry. Also moon and vertex or moon and south node. We shared aspects to all of them. We also had major saturn aspects to sun, moon, ascendant and mars, both ways. I personally, think it's karma. Your soul knows you have unfinished business with this person. So they get your attention, Big time!IP: Logged |

You know, this could also be explained by the soul peices theory that Linda spoke of. Perhaps you sense one of these pieces in the other person, and, therefore, they could feel it in you too. The fourteen peices Linda spoke of as existing in other people - it never occurred to me that the other people would sense it in you, but of course they could - why not? The soul is not confined to the body or the mind, so when you walk into a room, your soul could possibly already know everything in that room on a "soular" level, and hence portray this information to your mind and body (different information as in thoughts and feelings). I'm not sure how long soular peices can exist in other people - there are a lot of questions in this area (imho). For example, when people or pets die, I believe they can see you again through other people's eyes, but only very brifly. Plus you have to be receptive to it - your mind would probably need to be in very sensitive communion with your mind. Not to mention the higher-self. This entity could also be responsible for some of the communication between your soul and mind/body. In that the "puppet-master" senses something of enormous benefit and opportunity to you. I often feel drawn to people to learn something. Also, if you directly asked your higher-self for guidance or answers, etc, then it may lead you into more of these situations.Heaps of Love,
