can someone, anyone, please explain to me why streetlights go off when i pass under them. I am interested in knowing why. it happens all the time every single day different times and sometimes I want an answer for unexplainable stuff that seems to happen. if anyone has a reasonable answer for this, please post it.the clock thing, the tv thing, the streetlights, maybe there is just too much electricity in me, i dont flipping know, but i would so very much like someone to have some kind of reasonable explanation for this. when i am directly under streetlights, they go out. maybe 3 per day. everyday. i just want wierd stuff that seems to just happen to me to have an explanation. i mean you can't even talk about this to people. i am quite sure they wont believe you unless they are with you when it happens. That happens to other people also. I wonder what science would say about it?------------------ "I have found a desire within myself that no experience in this world can satisfy; the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world." -C.S. Lewis IP: Logged |

yeah kat, maybe its my angels or my aunt letting me know they are there.the brain runs on electrons, maybe it has something to do with electro magnetic fields. hard to say. was just wondering if someone knew. IP: Logged |

i used to think it was just my perfect timing, that they went off as i went under them because that was thier programmed time...like pulling up to a red light when it just turns green and you think perfect timing..., but then i realized, i never really leave the house at exactly the same time every day. just one of those thingsIP: Logged |

all my watches but one are broke, and i dont wear it often. i dont like being tied to time, so i try not to set clocks and wear watches. drives my hubby nuts as no clocks are even close to right at my house! i should care, but i don't, it makes me feel too tied down, the time thing. i detest alarm clocks especially, what a rude way to awaken.IP: Logged |

lol, i use an alarm clock sometimes...but i hate waking to the alarm SOO much that i ALWAYS wake about 2 minutes before it goes off. i can get with the clocks being untended too, i used to collect antique clocks but there was only ever ONE clock in my house that was right, the one on the stove!i have been having a different eerie phenomena lately. i have been long been in the habit of asking out loud "where is my ---?" when i'm looking for it, and within about 30 seconds i will find it. but recently i have had longer gaps in the actual appearance of the thing, but they come INTO MY HAND when i am looking in a different spot...without me having seen them i will put my hand on them...quite a helpful anomaly, that one... I visited a public aquarium recently. There was an electricity reader set up to measure how much electricity there was in your body. It was to show how sharks are attracted to electrical currents. My partner and her daughter measure quite high. I was low. I have no explanation other than, would I have low electricity through my body because I meditate and therefore have slower brain waves??? I know not!!! All I can advise, cpn, is don't go swimming in shark infested waters!!!! IP: Logged |

I have something called SVT a heart rhythm problem that is electrically based. I kill watches, batteries...As for the streetlights it is an awareness issue. A streetlight going off is "dramatic" but not unusual, so you notice it. If all the streetlights were going off following you as you drive for two miles then maybe you'd have something. Keep a written journal in your car recording where and when this occurs and you will see that there is nothing to your claim but hyper focus. IP: Logged |

and it's not a problem, you don't need light to read time on your watch anyway!

well when driving i would not consider it significant, in that i have my headlights on anyway (hopefully!) and it might be something to do with the car's electrics... but i like the idea of being able to walk in darkness - we are over-watched as it is. i grew up in the country where there were no streetlights and much prefer it that way!IP: Logged |

Hi there! There is an article in Wikipedia about this - called Street Light Intereference.Heaps of Love, Dean. ------------------ I realized it for the first time in my life: there is nothing but mystery in the world, how it hides behind the fabric of our poor, browbeat days, shining brightly, and we don't even know it.
