Work on deciphering a complex set of symbols sent to them is underway, scientists from the country's Space Research Institute said.

They claim aliens are currently answering 30 questions posed to them.

Lachezar Filipov, deputy director of the Space Research Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, confirmed the research.

He said the centre's researchers were analysing 150 crop circles from around the world, which they believe answer the questions.

"Aliens are currently all around us, and are watching us all the time," Mr Filipov told Bulgarian media.

"They are not hostile towards us, rather, they want to help us but we have not grown enough in order to establish direct contact with them."

Mr Filipov said that even the seat of the Catholic church, the Vatican, had agreed that aliens existed.

He said humans were not going to be able to establish contact with the extraterrestrials through radio waves but through the power of thought.

"The human race was certainly going to have direct contact with the aliens in the next 10 to 15 years," he said.

"Extraterrestrials are critical of the people's amoral behavior referring to the humans' interference in nature's processes."

The publication of the BAS researchers report concerning communicating with aliens comes in the midst of a controversy over the role, feasibility, and reform of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

It should be fitting, though, to mention that one would be quite disappointed if they had their hearts set on seeing flying saucers swooping down from the atmosphere driven by a weird-looking species of alien with cool-looking pieces of technologically superior instruments at their command! O how low this heart will sink, for its eyes shall never See this Dream!

This is probably my favorite sentence in the whole article, but I daresay that this scientist hardly knows the Power of Thought himself. Not that I, most powerful in Nature, know more than him in this regard but that I, aspiringly reverent of the I from whom the Living Thinking springs forth, am fallen out of love with the disconnect of our thinking present.

Ha! A certain jadedness in my writing should be clear to keen hearts, that I've taken no self-interest in the architecture of my words. Not even for a clearer understanding. Let it be read what will be read, just as I read what I read in this article!

Please excuse my eccentricity. The substance of this article is like a heavy dirt that buries my heart. There is something to it which I can value, but it comes at the cost of severe confusion. That power of thought that would afford us Reality will not come to us through the interpretation of symbols but through its application in everyday living! Living thoughts in a life of thinking is accomplishable, even in the simplest life. We need no scientist for this, save the Scientist in our Heart.

I think to say that we will never see such flying saucers however....is an assumption.
Who knows?

As for the power of thought...I think this was a reference to telepathic communication being the ET's preferred method of communication. Then again...who knows. Maybe there are no ET's...maybe the idea of them and communications from them are only a government psy-op?

The optimist in me prefers to believe that all things are possible however.
That there are other beings out there.
And that some of them are good.

Maybe our need for aliens is part of a collective cry for help, looking for beings who can 'save' us. So we project this strong desire outward, which manifests in 'visions' of alien beings.

Perhaps the aliens are our evolved selves? What we're aspiring to, what we'll become.

I am serious, I mean I would like to believe in aliens in the traditional sense. But I've just never seen any proof. I'm very open minded and intuitive and I believe in otherworldly beings but I've never had a UFO or alien encounter, even though I open myself to it. So that's why I don't think there's 'little green men', at least not visiting Earth lol. But there most certainly are other lifeforms out there, given the size of the Universe and the number of planets!
