DISCUSSION AND IDEAS:

Is one stronger than the other?

Do they balance each other?

Do you believe in just 1, or 2, or all 3?

How does the way we live our lives get affected by these?

Hmm. I think Free Will is what we chose on a day to day basis. This can be long term though - like walking along but keeping an eye on the horizon. Fate are the moments that occur that "spin you out", and were pre-destined, but are smaller than destiny per se. Destiny is like your life path that leads into certain situations as guided by your higher seif/puppet master. You can assist this process (or hinder) but the path is controlled on a higher plane. Karma are the decisions (and results) you make on a soular level involving other people and situations, and Dharma is the corrective action of negating Karma. I could be (and most likely are) wrong, but that's my take - for the sake of argument and debate, etc

Cheers,
Dean.

Good post seasme I tend to agree with what you've said.

I think Destiny is what we ultimately become in this lifetime, but I'm not sure if we can change that or if it's set in stone. Fate is the events that happen along the way that lead us toward our destiny. I think these happen regardless of our choices, we 'call' them into our experience from some type of higher mind.

Free will is our ability to make choices in daily life, although if all paths lead to the one destiny is there really any free will? lol Tricky one!

And karma, I think, is what you generate through your choices and resulting actions. I think we also create karma is this lifetime that comes full circle, eg, if you intentionally wrong someony you will have something happen in return. I always see things happening around me. If you believe in past lives you may have karma carried over to this one to resolve too.

I think Karma is ever changing and evolving due to the fact that we have free will.

You may have karma with someone, and then chose not to pay it back, or get paid back, thereby creating karma to deal with later.

Free will is always present, but I don't believe it changes our destiny.

In other words, it's like a fork in the road, do you take the left or do you take the right? That is free will. Yet, if you were looking at it from above, looking down on it, you would see that it didn't really matter, because the fork in the road only merges in the end anyway.

Just free will giving you different experiences.

Course, just MHO.
