Ewww

You know, I used to be one of the people who assume that aliens aren't real and that those who claim to have seen them are simply hallucinating, and those who believe them are just... um, no different from many obedient religious people...

It's funny how in the last month my view has been changing.

Anyway... So how could they assume that it really comes from an alien's nose? Not from its ass...?

I have seen this stuff many times where I used to live.
There was also a strange layer of fatty flesh-like stuff about 2 to 5 inches thick with golden suntan "skin", on top of an irrigation channel's water. The stuff covered a large area 4 feet wide by 500 feet or more and was seen in other such streams.
It trembled if touched and had a musky smell, very faint, not unpleasant, like sweat on a clean person mixed with a faint musk oil. As it aged it would get thicker skin and red and brown "freckles", then get to looking like gray thick shark skin with tiny spiky like hair on it.
As the canals dried up the stuff would begin to smell like rancid fat and rotted meat, but bugs would not go near it, and it would encase the rocks and harden.
When Autumn came, the water would return and the gray stuff would flake off looking like wet burnt paper ash, and the minnows and small fish would greedily consume it.
Fascinating!

Hi Lexx! That's fascinating... If I were in your shoes though, I think I would freak out a bit, be wary... I think this reaction would be largely due to my upbringing. Somehow I'm certain that if I'd had a less fear-based childhood background, I would be more objective about that...

So, did it not ever move or something...?

OneRuledbyMars - Let's see... I like letting go of beliefs;

(WTF, was it just ME, or did the lamplight in the bedroom suddenly get BRIGHT... Really got me startled!)

I must have just unconsciously opened up to the possibility of alien existence slowly over the years; I just didn't have reliable source of info about aliens, and I was brought up by a very skeptical man who believed only in 3d-science, AND old-school Catholicism. Only "alien literature" I was exposed to were "rumor reports" on TV, and just a couple of songs (Radiohead and Tool, LOL), which I took to be just metaphors (and it does work, if you take it that way too)...

In the past month though, I've gone from skeptic to neutral to acknowledging an inner sense of us not being alone... Actually this year is very interesting; I had my Faith restored, not just in regards to alien existence, but also in Akashic Records, Intuition, Prayer/Magic, etc.

And then I read some bits of the Kybalion, and its writers adviced readers to never assume that we are the lone living things in the Universe;... and last night I just watched Michael Tsarion's "Destruction of Atlantis"... Very interesting...

i am all for the likelihood that "aliens" not only exist but are here with us now, though i have yet to encounter one knowingly...but i didn't catch any "official" type statement that this stuff was from outer space...just that they hadn't figured out WHAT it was?

HWOP,
thats awesome..is its so much easier just to be open to possiblilities and leave it like that. Brings some order to our divine chaos....and Kat...I think basically, is that the DNA of the stuff is nothing like we have on Earth...nor does it even resemble Earth DNAs...its just quite interesting because if that DNA didnt come from Earth than for sure there is life out of space...
