Okay I need to know everything about this art. I was told it was something that I would be good at but I have heard mixed things about it. Some say that it opens the door for demons to come into your life while others say that it is beneficial and actually good for you. I need to know all about it if I am to come to a conclusion about whether I want to perform this on others and if I want this performed on me. Please share knowledge and experiences with reiki. Thanks much.------------------

I thought there was nothing but positivity about reiki. It seeks where it is needed, the person is merely the conduit for the energy to pass through. What I don't like is what people charge to attune you to it. It should (IMHO) cost next to nothing to people.Heaps of love,

REIKI CANNOT HURT OR HARM EVER!!!!! It is energy based in Love & Light.Demons coming through? The negativity would come through whether or not one allows themself to be an open channel or not. The demons are waiting for an invitation? How polite and compassionate of the negativity. THOSE WHO HAVE HAD BAD EXPERIENCES WITH REIKI ALREADY HAD THEIR OWN DEMONS TO CONTEND WITH AND THE REIKI AMPLIFIED THE WORK THAT THEY ALREADY NEEDED TO DO. Again, the Reiki energy is based in Light. Reiki can aid in clearing negative Karma but it does not bring it in. Even when one is not attuned with Reiki, we are all conduits of ENERGY. That IS WHAT WE ARE MADE OF! Reiki opens that energy on a "higher" level. I am a level III Reiki teacher/ Reiki Master and it has been an amazing journey for me. Each level opened up different things for me. With the 1st degree, the energy of the Reiki in conjunction with my own energy, I worked on clearing emotional issues. New dimensions of life became apparent. With the 2nd, it was more of a clearing of mental issues. With the 3rd, I have begun to work with the other dimensions. There was a definite change in my energy with each level. Some was my own doing, some came to me. It has been an amazing, beautiful experience for me. My Reiki mentor, I can't say enough nor do I have the words to say how wonderful she is. The world would be a better place if more people were like her - of course, while Be-ing themselves. Reiki has changed me in ways that no words can justify. My career path is not in Reiki. It has been a stepping stone for me and I am grateful for this energy.

sesame  Additionally some of the so called "practitioners" can cause harm.
Too many think they know what they are doing but do not. ------------------

Thanks guys! The only reason why I brought up the thing about the demons aspect is because I heard this video (radio interview i guess) on youtube from this lady about her experience she had and how God told some of her church friends to not go to her house because of her practicing reiki. I thought it was bs but I haven't experienced it for myself and I haven't heard anyone say any bad things about it but I only personally know one person who has had a session. And it is extremely expensive to get an atonement done and study the art.

I just rejected everything she said and I was arguing with her in my head. Like why would you act on everything that other entities tell you to do? I'm not doing nothing anything tells me unless I know that it is good and it is good for me. And even then I am doing it because it is my decision to do it. But i think she probably got reiki mixed up with her dealing with the dead. I don't know but I think communicating with the dead is something that maybe she shouldn't have been doing.

I am in Reiki 2 level..I started 4 months ago..
My life changed..in a very positive way..
I had bad headhac and bottom mental issues with relations,carreer etc..
Then it changed..
Today I am very happy..

I'm level 3 reiki. I was attuned and taught a few years ago. I thought I would go further with this practise but it turned out I was not meant to be a reiki practitioner, but I still apply reiki energy when I require it, more like a lifestyle than a business or career.
The only door reiki opens are the ones you intend to open. Reiki is a name given for energy and energy operates via intention. You have nothing to worry about Mia. ------------------
