There are many diverse interpretations/definitions for such.

Additionally;
sorry to rain on your parade;
but zapping your cat is a simple static electricity effect.
I can light fluorescent tubes with my hair, electric shock cats, people, things with my touch.
Its NOT magic nor holy spirit;
its just simple physics.
And cats staring?
Don't read too much into that;
unless the cat seems afraid or worried.

imho, whatever you call that "spark" is entirely up to you. Words are just that, words. Words are what we use to make up for a lack of communication on a higher plane. Words can be deceiving and can have so many frames of reference as to muddy the water on such a simple subject as this.

Whatever you decide to call your "juice"... your Spark, your Guide, your Light, your Demon, your God, your Goddess... your Holy Spirit, only you know if it is right for you.

A "title" at this level is inconsequential and counter productive anyways. Heck, just look at Osiris/Isis/Thoth/Hermes/Ra/Apollo/Hathor... etc etc. Talk about confusion, lol!

Spirit "is".

Whatever gets you juiced up and motivated in a positive (or even negative) manner!

Since Reiki, I haven't had any more experiences of receiving or giving electrical sparks of energy to others. The energy I give/receive feels more like water in nature; it's subtle, gentle & more like waves.

Since you asked the very same question of me and since my internet connection has been glitched the past few days, I shall reply here.

When I refer to Light, God and Invocation, I do not refer to any biblical archetypes or entities nor do I imply any association with any shadow entities that appear to most people in the said forms to influence them towards darkness.

I owe my allegiance solely to the Original Creator, the Atman, the Essence of the Omniverse, from whose body(energy) sprout all countless worlds. I invoke that One Being who is the True Master of this world and the worlds beyond. I seek the Light that is Him/Her.

I have no love lost for the other creator, the false god, whose only goal is to collect souls unto himself(there is no sacred feminine in him, he represents the negative polarity of unopposed yang/masculine energy) and feed his own lust for power and whose minions still delude millions of beings in his name and try to influence them under the guise of light. He is nobody and nothing and his minions are mere flecks of dust against my Lord who only allows him to be so that we can choose of our own Free Will and Volition to align ourselves with any path that we desire.

Many souls are awakening to this deception and the Heavens are getting ready to be churned in this battle but the dark will never win and its pretty white feathered 'angels' will fall at the hands of the real Angels: fierce, armoured, battle-clad, alchemically-altered gold winged warriors of the 11th Dimension.
