Recently I have been experiencing goosebumps...lots of em, many times. So I have taken note of when they occur.

For example, yesterday a doc was telling a family that their mom/wife/aunt was, basically brain dead, and would never recover...goosebumps..

Roberta Flack's "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" sends chills all over me...

I see the spiritual truths in both of these examples.

Anybody else with similar spiritual experiences?

very interesting...

everytime i play for a funeral - 90% will
occur during the eulogy... each time is
a little different too - sometimes more of a jolt and other times more gentle but always just once

there are other instances as well but not
with that consistancy

Goosebumps or chills occur when our intuition is engaged and we get a psychic confirmation of the truth we are sensing.

It is a neat experience. I find the more spiritually I have grown, the more I get the chills of psychic confirmation. This is especially true for me when having deep conversations on anything relating to past lives, astrology or anything in the metaphysical realm.

I don't get goosebumps, but a chill that runs from my scalp to my toes all in one wave. Sometimes I'll get multiple waves, especially when watching/reading something about metaphysics.

That happens to me when I 'feel something true...real...just like the high-pitched ringing, typically in my right ear, but now and then, my left...just like the high-pitched tone that hasn't left in months now...it gets louder when I hear, read, think something that is real...true...an affirmation...

Nice thread Hippi.
I have that high pitched thing going on in my left ear, it's been driving me batty.

But, goosebumps, yes..
I get them when I hear 'At Last' by Etta James.
Also, sometimes during religious music, at mass.

I get the goosebumps when and wherever my SO touches me. If he brushes my arm, it will get goosebumps.

And like the others, I think it's a little memo from the Universe to us, to take note because whatever you are seeing, hearing, feeling is real and relevant to you.

Thank you all for your replies.

Now that I have been paying more attention, I am beginning to see the spiritual truths attached to alleged mundane meanings of particular happenings.

I was emotionally weirded out the other day, when my neighbor was telling me the history of my house, and what a history she has, then my roofer stops by and tells me about his new love (and why he sees me as a friend when he is my roofer I dont know..) and I was getting this huge endorphin rush from all the love my roofer was spreading, when I heard this tapping, I looked around to see an old man, really a skinny Saint Nick type walking down my street, and his cane made a tapping noise, it was somebody I have never seen before. Well right before the tapping...the goosebumps.

Again thanks!
