Do you ever get the feeling that we weren't supposed to ever have read the BIble?
That perhaps there were those who, wrote, read and understood it and it's metaphor and the rest of us remained oblivious until it leaked out and spead like wild-fire...Then perhaps this forced those would be elitists to creat a religion out of those metaphors and recount it in such a way as to brainwash those who read it? Like the Catholic church... I was catholic,I'm an atheist now, (that is I don't beleive in religion)...I have studied some hypnosis and I realised that everytime I had the fear of going to hell for something it was because of unconscious reaction... That truly I have been hypnotised into believing that if I commit a 'sin' I will go to hell. I no longer believe this but every so often I get a little fear and I have to remind myself that it's ok...
I even had a conversation with my younger sister and others who rationalise religion and very nearly laugh at it BUT one person said...Well I'd rather believe and doe going to heaven than not believe and go to hell.
My younger sister who is a die hard fan of my atheist tinged thinking....even said ...well I think I'm a pretty good person anyway, so If it's true I don't think I'll go to hell.... WTF...(not a reference to wikileaks)
Are we all in a state of fear?

God is not the correct term to describe The Supreme Being. There are many god's but only one Infinite Creator. The religions and what not have tricked people into praying to God's instead of The Supreme Being so therefore the peoples prayers and energy are going to false gods or idols. The people are tricked. No wonder there are Atheists! They never get true blessing or true divine energy because they are going to the wrong Source. The Infinite Creator cannot be attributed to any names. At best we can call it The Infinite Creator of Unconditional Love and Acceptance or The Supreme Being or The Universal Mind etc. At best The Supreme Being can be described by what IT is NOT. Also, it has no sex. It is an ALL POWERFUL FORM OF ENERGY IN THE PUREST SENSE! Since everything is made of energy (everything made in the image of the Creator) it is the ULTIMATE REPRESENTATION OF ENERGY. It is THE SOURCE. All of our Energy comes from it. RE- LEGION . sounds cult-ish. 150 sects all brandishing their own version of mind body and soul control. Catholic. - CAT-HOLIC (um , addicted to cat's)?
the church claims that it refers to Ancient Greek 'Katholikos' "according to the whole" or 'Universal' (but according to 'Bishop')....but the catch i found is that the word 'Kathos' (in ancient greek) is the word that means 'according to/ in so far' and the word 'Likos' (theres some letter discrepency but....) 'Lycus or Lykos (Greek: Λύκος  , a common name for Greek rivers, seems to have originated in the impression made upon the mind of the beholder by a torrent rushing down the side of a hill, which suggested the idea of a wolf (Greek: Lykos) rushing at its prey.' so, Catholic Church......
