I have this on my right hand. What does it mean? Ill-health, early death? Let's face it, it doesn't mean you're going to win the lottery does it...
Let's see the red heart brigade put a positive spin on THIS.

Your Life Line has a break in it:

You have allowed the memory of disagreeable times to etch its way deep into your body and soul. Admittedly, you have endured prolonged exposure to unpleasant conditions. There is a twofold absence of color in your life. Your daily surroundings are cheerless and secondly, you feel that the excitement of life has slipped away. An entirely new lifestyle and outlook on life are in order.

It's from the book, Instant Palm Reader

Yeah that sounds bang on the money dude. I'm hopefully turning the corner into this 'new life' by basically taking a 'risk' (although i don't see it as that), increased faith and hopefully alot of karmic neutralisation through good deeds.

Lines on hands can change subtly to radically in a short period of time.
At least mine do.
I have had breaks appear and disappear.
I do not read palms in the traditional ways.
I take into account the lines and all, but then let it just come to me, more like reading an encoded map, or a person's story written and being written still as the next "pages" are just on the edge of view.

Yes, I agree with LEXX. The lines change and I also read them non traditionally but have learned a great deal from the more traditional method basics. I have a large star, like stars of david on each hand that are made up in part by my head and life lines. Sometimes they are very immediately visible and sometimes dimmer. Remember you always have free will no matter what. Do you have laughter yoga available in your area? it is very free-ing and healthy! If you have to fake laugh it works the same benefits. There's also EFT tapping but laughing is good. I found out I was laugh con stipated and had to hahaha hohoho hehehe through a couple of classes but felt very light afterwards anyway and became aware I was stifling smiles and laughter and "flow".

Oh don't worry.
I don't even have one. Well a few faint broken chains finishing in the centre of my palm which makes me think that
a. I am hanging by a very thin thread
b. It's a load of b***ocks
My ex husband didn't have one at all (believe me I searched) and let me tell you he had flippin' nine lives.

And has my life been a faint shadow?
No it has not

Same here on the palm reading.
And......
Oh yes to the fake laugh exercise!
Using a mirror can help.
Something about getting your face all silly grinning and making even fake laughing fools your mind and body and the next thing you know is that you really do feel much better!

My take on this is that "blank" hands mean you are perhaps a totally free spirit
(as in "don't fence me in")
and or don't get overly hung up on things that do not go as planned or desired?
Just guessing.

Make different choices...and change your future. You create the path of this reality as you move along it, and I do feel that the lines in your hand change because of that.

Oh for sure!
My life lines have nearly vanished or broken during extreme depressions and other bad times.
Then returned when I came back to optimism.
It only takes a few weeks to see the changes.
In fact,
I keep a watch on my lines because often they seem to reflect to some degree my unconscious self.
If they show I am slipping away into a negative state in even the least bit;
I then do my best to identify and fix or change so that the "fadeouts" let up and the details return.
